Did I just hear that right?

Snow Coming?

With a, literally, angel?

"Uh..."

"Just, please, think about it. OK? Its still two months away, so, please. Just think."

"OK. I will." I say hesitantly.

"Good." He says with a sigh.

He grabs my hand, and kisses the top of it.

"Your friend is here. I have to go." He says, backing out the window.

A second later, the door bell rings.

"Good bye, my princess." He says looking into my eyes.

"Good bye, my prince." I say back.

He smiles at me, and flies off.

The door bell rings again, and I shout, "hold on!"

I open the door, and am tackled by Mackenzie in a bone crunching hug.

"Kenzie! Can't. Breath!" I say, breathlessly.

"Sorry! I just missed you so much! How are you feeling today? Will you be coming back to school tomorrow? If so, we have to start shopping for our dresses, shoes, make up, and-"

"Mackenzie! Stop! Now what do you mean, dresses?" I ask, totally dumbfounded.

"For Snow Coming. I got a date!" She said jumping around my room.

I had forgotten about that.

And that Jay had asked me to go!

"So. Do you have a date?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"I'm not sure yet." I say blushing.

"Wait! What does that mean?! Did someone ask you?!" She questions.

"Yeah. I was asked." I say, nonchalantly.

"BY WHO!?!?!?!" She screams in my face.

"You know that boy, uh, Jay?" I ask, knowing she knows Jay.

"No. Fricking. Way! Did you say yes?" She asks, sitting on my bed.

"He told me to think about it, so I am. What do you think I should say?" I ask, suddenly scared at the question.

"Well, do you like him?" She asks me.

I blush, thinking about every time I see him.

He makes me relax and I'm happy with him.

"I knew it! You like him!" She says laughing.

"Take this seriously! What should I say? I'm so confused." I say starting to cry.

"Oh! Honey, its OK! Look at me. Just say yes if you really like him." She says, wiping away my tears.

"OK." I say, smiling up at her.

"Good. Now show me your movies and where you hide the munchies!"

She's going to say yes! Finally, Mackenzie gave Cassie some backbone!
