Sick Day [Nalu fanfic]

Wendy looked over Mira's plan, or Operation Nalu as she called it, Wendy's part was simple heal Lucy, and if possible try and get Natsu and Lucy closer together, the whole plan was to gently push them together. Don't be obvious, don't be pushy, don't let your true intentions show.
"Mira are you sure about this, I don't like to lie," Wendy said nervously, she has been fine and could have easily healed Lucy the day she got back. But Mira insisted they needed another day together. Wendy sighed, she was to go over later today just to visit, then tomorrow go over and heal Lucy...

Natsu's PoV:
I opened my eyelids to blond hair, huh?, Lucy's sweet smelling shampoo filled my nostrils and I sat up with a shock.
"You up sleepy head," a raspy voice greeted me,
"I fell asleep? How long was I out?" I asked, "Long enough for it to be near four o' clock," Lucy smiled, oh gosh her smile is do cute-wait what am I thinking???. The small moment was interrupted by a small knock on the door,
"I'll go get that," I said,  getting up and walking to the door, hoping that I wasn't blushing. I open the door to Wendy,
"Wendy? I thought you were supposed to be here tomorrow," I said as I answered the door,
"Yeah, I just wanted to visit with Lucy," Wendy said,
"Hey Luce, Wendy is here to see you!" I said loud enough for Lucy to hear,
"I'm sick not blind!" She yelled back at me, I laughed and let Wendy in.
"Hi Wendy," Lucy smiled, her smile lighting up the room even more, if that was even possible. Wendy ran over and hugged Lucy, checking Lucy's temperature with her hand as she pulled away.
"Nastu! Have you been taking care of Lucy at all?" Wendy scolded me, "She's running a very bad fever!"
"Sorry," I mumbled,
"Never mind, just keep her hydrated and give her some medicine, I'll be back tomorrow to heal her," Wendy instructed. She may of been timid and shy when we first met her, but you can trust her to stick to her word.
"Okay, Okay," I said. Wendy stayed for the next hour and Lucy insisted she stay for dinner,
"No I gotta go, also Natsu, you should keep Lucy warm, like cuddle her or something, it  is supposed to get cold tonight," Wendy giggled with a small wink as she closed the door behind her.

Lucy's PoV:
What was that? Did she just suggest that Natsu and I sleep in the same bed together???
As realizatdion set in both Natus and I blushed a shade of red that was close to his guild mark,
"I-I-I'll go start dinner," Natsu said, blushing like the idiot he is. I reminisced on when Natsu took a cat nap on my shoulder, His sleeping face is so cute, I smiled to myself as I got up to stretch my legs, I may feel like crap, but that doesn't give me a good excuse not to get up. Wrapping my blanket around myself I walked into the kitchen area,
"So you can cook!" I said in a sort of surprise,
"Not really but I was taught a few recipes," Natsu said with a small smirk, I'm grateful my cold can hide my blushing.
"So chef Natsu, what's for dinner?" I teased,
"Soup, with only the best noodles, broth chicken and some other fancy stuff. All the ingredients have carefully stored in order full flavour," he said in a funny accent, holding up an empty can of chicken noodle soup. We both laughed, which resulted in me cough and Natsu freaking out.
"You should go back to bed," He said picking me up bridal style of course,
"I can walk fine by myself!" I complained, He is so warm, I feel like I could melt in his arms,  He set me gently on to my bed and went back to the kitchen area to continue cooking, well actually more like heating up a can of soup.  He let me eat at the table then made me go back to my bed. I read in my bed for a while took some medicine, like Wendy instructed. Natsu also always made sure the glass of water by my bed was filled. He sat near me and let his naturally warm body heat keep me warm. It was kinda awkward at first but eventually I fell asleep.
