The first couple weeks of school were a huge, and i mean a huge, sucess that even I was doubting if it was real life. Now my shceduale would finally be right, and I could get to know people and stop going to the office every day before class. Now that a guy actually liked me this put 392834 times the pressure on me. What to wear, how to act. I was lost. I stood in front of my closet searching for the perfect outfit. It was nice out side, about 70, so i could get away with a dress. I pulled out a daisy print mini dress from american apparel and paired it with my black sandals and light jean jacket. Getting dressed has always been a struggle for me, in Manhatten you always had to be dressed to the nines. I got to school on time and headed to my new locker, which was sadly next to the boys bathroom. The halls were flooded with people gossiping and chatting with friends leaned against lockers. I saw Jake coming down the hall with his friends and waited for him. As he was almost to my locker when a tall boy with short blonde hair and piercing green eyes came up to me. He was gorgeous, almost as gorgeous as Jake. He smiled at me and put his hand through his hair,
“Hi im Mack” He said.
“Your the new girl arent you” he asked.
I nodded, “Yeah, Im Jane!”
“Well Jane, I just wanted to introduce myself to you, We should hang out some time and get to know one another” He said. Just before I could answer Jake walked up.
“Hey Jane” Jake said.
Mack looked at him suprisingly.
“Oh hey mack! Didnt see you there”
“Hey Jake” Mack said, then looking back at me “Ill talk to you later?” He asked.
I nodded and he walked away. I turned towards Jake and saw him smiling.
“I have to get on my game” he said.
I laughed, “Your game?” i asked.
He dropped his jaw. “Havent you noticed?” he asked.
I looked confused. He shook his head.
“Notice what” I asked.
“That every guy in this school is falling for you” he said.
I started laughing, “Shut up”.
“Its true, havent you noticed how they all stare or whistle at you. Every guy and girl is talking about you.”
“Yeah, talking bad probably.”
“The girls maybe, they are really bitchy, but the guys.. they arent saying one bad thing.”
I stopped and looked around, making eye contact with over 10 guys. Maybe he was right, i have noticed them staring.
I turned back at him, “But why would you need to get on your game?” I asked.
“Because its going to be hard to make you want me over them.” he said sadly.
I looked at him. He had to be kidding, he was perfect, standing there in his read his red hoodie, black shorts and all black vans. His hair perfectly laying on his flawless skin. He had to be kidding, how would he think that I would want anyone other than him?
“Are you kidding” I asked.
He shook his head, “No. Do you know how many guys plan on approaching you today and all this week. they all want you. At football meeting this morning they were all talking about you and how perfect you are and how they are going to invite you to their party this weekend hoping one of them can get you. Now macks even made a move on you”
