3 years later- Manhattan
"Hi babe" I heard as a pair of hands wrapped around my waist
"Hi jake" I giggled before turning around and kissing him.
It was August, and the begining of what should of been my junior year of college, and I was back in Manhattan. Along with Jake. Jakes uncle Damien, who was like a father to Jake since Jakes left when he was young, passed away a couple months after I moved to UCF. Damien ran the most popular bank chains across the upper part of Manhattan and left everything to Jake, including his 10 million dollar investment. Lucky for Jake, I knew the city well, and had many friends here (I had only lived in Florida for a year, the rest of my life was on the upper east side) and was more than ecstatic when he asked me to move with him into a penthouse in the most luxerious hotel in the upper east side. We didnt even get to complete half of a year in college and we are already one of the richest couples on the upper east side. For the past almost 3 years we have basically been a married couple, living together, both working and having fun.
I introduced him to my old friends from high school, Ella my best friend, a gorgeous mixed girl, Nick (Jakes new best friend) my super hot old boyfriend, Duke the life of every Manhattan party, and Jessen my old friend, who was a dare devil badass, who I knew since birth. Jake took to the luxury life of Manhattan quick, influenced a little by the lavish lifestyle of our new friends, and started acting like a upper east sider after a couple months. He ditched the Khakis and vans for suits, and I updated my already high class wordrobe for even better stuff, i mean after all Jake and I were both 20 now.
"I missed you" Jake said before kissing me
"I missed you too"
I was on the counter in only his big button down. I wrapped my legs around his and kissed him, laughing as he picked me up and carried me too the bed to take things father. right when things were getting good he pulled away, his phone ringing
"Hello" he asked
"What?" he said, his tone changing
I sat up confused
"I'll be there soon...yes.. I understand" he said shaking his head and hung up.
"Jake what's wrong?" I asked him
He stood up, and started to put in his suit
"Something has come up" he mumbled
I rolled my eyes. something always comes up. nothing stays good anymore, like in flirida. but not even in Florida were things good.
"I love you!" I hollered as he walked out of the pent house, not hearing me.
I got up and ran my hands through my hair and walked to the huge windows and looked out. the view was amazing but made my stomach feel weird. like I didn't belong here.
"Jane stop this" I told my self "you lived here almost your entire life"
I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv and made done coffee listening as I did
"It has been brought to the publics attention that The Everglade bank chains have been put under a law suit for unfair treatment of employees by the young owner Jake Gallahen"
I spun around to see a news reporter on the screen
"What!" I shouted at the TV
The lady went on to tell about the law suit. I ran in our room and got dressed. I out on a pink Versace dress, heels, pea coat and a scarf and stormed down to the meeting hall to see Jake
I barged into the room and grabbed him by the arm pulling him into the hall
"A LAW SUIT!" I shouted at him
