chapter 6: Hottest girls at the party

Jake left last night at 10, he stayed for dinner then watched a movie with me and some how convinced me to show him my portfolio again.

The next morning I got ready for school, decind to wear light blue high waisted shorts, black tank top and creme sweater with my low combat boots. I got to school and met Jake at my locker. He greeted me with a kiss, and people stared.

“Hello my Girlfriend” He said.

“Aw man shes taken” a voice somewhere said.

i laughed. I looked past Jake at John, he was staring at me. He saw that i saw him, gave me a hurt look and looked away. I walked to class with Jake and sat down next to Alex. She hasnt been here the last few days, but her neck brace and cast were gone.

“Hey girl” I said.

“Hey Jane”

“Got your cast off?”

“Oh yea”

“What happend?”

“I dont really want to talk about it”

“Oh okay.” i said. “Hey Alex, what are you doing tonight?”

“Um nothing, why?”

“do you want to go to a party with me?”

“A Party? Im usually not invited to them.”

“Dont worry about it, You have to come!”

“Well if you want me to, but wont your friends get mad?

” “Friends? Oh i dont have friends. Your my only one.”

She smiled. “Okay, yeah ill go”

“Cool, Just ride home with me after school!”

“Okay!” I turned back and started to do my work. the bell rang and I walked out with Jake.

“Its nice that you did that.” He said.

“Did what?” i asked confused.

“Invited Alex to the party, no one ever includes her.”

“why not” “she was in a really bad car accident, and her dad died. A lot of the girls have given her shit for it.”

“Thats ridiculous I said shaking my head. How could people be like that.

“I know, she hot too.” he said. I smacked his arm playfully, “Hey!” I said.

He laughed, “come on, not even close to you!” He said. We sat down at a two person table, far away from john and jay.

“Im going to hook her up with someone.” I said.

He raised his eye brow, “Like who?” He asked.

I thought, then i had the perfect idea. “John.”

He looked at me confused, “Why John?”

“So then i can get him off of me and onto her!

” He nodded, “If he would, do it.”

“Im sure he will, alex is a dime.” We talked more then ate. The bell rang and he walked me to class, then meeting me after it was over and walked me to science. I usually dont do this, but I kissed him goodbye, making sure John saw it. I sat next to him, he looked pissed.

“john, your going to be at the party tonight, right.” i asked him.

“Yea, why?” He said.
