"Babes,Pony get up!" said Johnny shaking the two of us awake. " Oh hey Johnnnycakes." I told my boyfriend and Ponyboy stood up tiredly," What time is it?" he asked. " I don't know Pony I feel asleep,too."replied Johnny and Ponyboy got ready to go back to his house."I better get going." he stated heading in the direction of his house. "Emily and I will be here." Johnny and I said together. "Come if you get too cold!"shouted Ponyboy as he headed home. Johnny and I laid back down and my head was on his shoulder. "We're running away." said Ponyboy breathlessly. We, all three, ran until we stopped at some trashcans and a chain link fence similar to the run we ran into the socs near the drive in earlier that night. "Ponyboy what happened?" I asked smoking a cancer stick. " Darry hit me... he really hit me." replied Ponyboy and I suddenly turned annoyed. " What the heck?" I yelled loudly and Ponyboy said, " I'm scared man." "Don't be your scaring me." replied a nervous Johnny. "Let's go to the park maybe you can cool off enough to go home." I suggested and we began to walk to the park. "I'm freezing..." said Ponyboy. "Why didn't you bring a jacket,stupid?" I asked him sounding exactly like my brother Dallas. We were walking to the park in silence when Johnny asked," What if something bad happens to us?" "Nothing will you two." I said tuffly. "I forgot I have the toughest girlfriend in Tulsa." said Johnny and I laughed. "You mean in the state,Johnnycakes?" I said smirking.
