Chapter 17:

"So let's think about the wedding, what do you wanna do?" Johnny asked me while we were sitting on the couch at Pony's house. "Well I was thinking obviously pretty small, not a lot of people. The gang, the shepherds,Cherry and Marcia. I want the wedding to be about us and our love." I answered Johnny. " I like that short and sweet guest list. What else? Where should we have it?What colors?" asked Johnny staring at me. "Well why don't we just do it here? Ponyboy already talked to me about 's going to be small anyway." I said looking around, " And as for the colors maybe like blue and gold." I continued. Ponyboy and Arizona came in from the kitchen where Johnny and I were talking. Kayla and Evie were chatting and decided to go for a walk to the DX. It was just Arizona,Pony,Johnny and I in the curtis living room. The four of us were sitting on the couch. "So Johnny,Emily have you guys talked much about the wedding?" asked Ponyboy holding Arizona's hand. "Well obviously the two of us were in a hospital for a while and we have just barely gotten out, we have only planned a few little things." I answered and Johnny nodded. "We want to help with anything you need help with. Pony and I would love to help with different things for the wedding." said Arizona speaking up. "Cool Emily and I appreciate the help." said Johnny. Pony and Arizona were holding hands and so were Johnny and I. Both couples were being all lovey-dovey when my older brother Dallas walked in and said "Hey you two sets of lovebirds." "Hey bro!" I replied. He looked at the four of us sitting all lovey-dovey on the couch. "There's too much love in this room!" said Dallas smirking and laughing. "Calm down weirdo!" I told my brother. He laughed and told me to come with him into the kitchen. I told Pony,Arizona and my personal favorite person Johnny that I would be right back "What do you need,Dal?" I asked my brother impatiently. "I just wanted to talk to you like a normal person, don't annoy me!" replied my brother. "What do you want to talk about, Dal?" I asked again this time more patiently. "Okay sis. I just wanted to talk to you about you and Johnny and one other thing." answered my brother Dallas. "Johnny and I are fine,Dallas. Well, I would say we are more than fine. We both love each other and we are getting married. There is nothing you can do to stop it! Now what's the other little thing?" I replied my voice escalating. "Be quiet.I am sorry sis I just wanted to check on you two. At the wedding you told me that Cherry was going to be there, do you think it would be fine if I asked her to dance or something?"said Dallas nervously, not seeming like himself. "Yes of course it would be fine,bro. If that's what you want to do." I replied. Dallas looked at at me and then we went out to join the other's. "Sorry just my brother being his weird self." I replied looking at Pony,Arizona and Johnny. "Good well I missed you." replied Johnny sweetly. "Same here." I replied before kissing him. All is perfect in the world of Jemily.
