Johnny and I grabbed out switchblades and knew what we had to do. "Do we have too?" asked Johnny. "Yes we need to save Ponyboy." I told him. He nodded randomly and we came up behind Randy and Bob. I was behind Randy and Johnny was behind Bob. I had my switchblade at the ready. Randy poured out his flask onto Ponyboy and I stroked him in the shoulder. Randy winced in pain and I grabbed the switchblade out. He ran back to the mustang with his friends minus Bob. Johnny stabbed Bob in the stomach and he fell to the ground on a pile of blood. I grabbed Ponyboy with help from Johnny and placed his lifeless body on the grass. He laid there and finally stood up groggily and looked at Johnny and I.
