Chapter 28:

It was a week after the wedding and Johnny and I were perfect,still. We we were sitting in the vacant lot,together hanging out. " I can't believe we have only been married for a week. It feels like forever,Johnny." I said looking at Johnny sweetly. "I know Babes, it is amazing. We need to get serious though and get jobs and stuff." Replied Johnny. I nodded and looked at Johnny. "Well you aren't wrong..." I finally admitted breaking the silence. " So Dallas went on a successful date with Cherry?" Replied Johnny. I nodded and laughed for a few seconds. " Johnny I didn't know if being married or being in love could be so good but I love being with you more than anything." I said honestly and laid my head on Johnny's shoulder. It was a sweet moment and Johnny kissed my forehead. " I know it seems really early to talk about our future but we need,too. So what kind of job do you want? Also in the future do you ever want to have kids and if so how many?" Johnny said surprising me. He passed me a red rose and waited for a response. " Well as for the job I don't know. I never really been too keen on jobs. But with the subject of kids, I always wanted to have three girls and a boy, never really thought about names. Obviously in a few years too..." I reposted to Johnny and he nodded. " Same here I always have wanged three kids,too. Two girls and a boy not too far apart in age.I didn't copy you but that's what I want. I actually would like the name of Dakota though for a girl." Replied Johnny looking at me,sweetly. I smiled at him. We were so similar in so many ways. The two of us were sitting in the lot and Johnny has his arm around me. We were minding our own business and having a sweet moment when I heard a familiar scream from what sounded like a girl, a few areas away. I exchanged glances with Johnny and the two of us got up. I fixed my leather jacket and gripped my switchblade from inside my leather jacket pocket. Johnnynand I headed towards the screaming. " Randy, Kyle,David quit it!" Yelled the familiar voice which I soon realized was Dallas' "girlfriend" Cherry Valance. I saw Randy and his two best friends David and Kyle trying to yell and hurt Cherry. It was probably because of Dallas or something like that. " Hey drunks!" I said as I entered the area alongside Johnny. " Oh it's stupid little Emily." Said Randy annoyed. " Leave them alone ." Said Johnny referring to Cherry and I. I looked Randy in the eyes and he let go of Cherry . " F you Randy! You are a terrible person." I told the idiot. I kicked Randy in a bad spot and his friends ran. "Are you okay Cherry did he have a blade?" I asked nodded and we said we would take her to Dallas
