Sitting in the lounge, the three young men were discussing what they should do during the holidays. Lucy was staring out of the window and then excused herself. She was sure that she'd just seen herself in Narnia through the mirror. She was sure of it. Shutting the door partially so she could still hear the men's muffled voices, she slowly climbed the stairs. She knew that Edmund still believed in Narnia as well as Eustace but she didn't understand why Edmund had laughed it off. She was now at the top of the stairs, wondering what to do. She stood at the top, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. The floor boards creaked. She held her breath. No shout from downstairs. Slowly she walked towards the door of Andrew's room. She heard the same hushed whisper she heard earlier. Lucy. Did the whisper just say her name? She mentally shook her head and thought that it might've been her brother or someone from downstairs. Lucy. There it was again. It was coming from the bedroom. Pushing the door open, she saw the mirror rippling like a small waterfall. She heard the whispers again but they got louder and louder. She crept closer. The voices were almost silent. She leant towards the mirror and suddenly felt a warm breeze. Looking about her, she saw that the window was closed and the door was closed. There's something strange about this mirror Lucy thought to herself. She was about to go back downstairs when she heard a familiar voice from behind her. "What are you doing?" it said. Gasping and spinning around, Lucy saw Andrew walk towards her. She hesitated slightly and lied, "I was just looking at my dress." Andrew smirked and told her that she looked beautiful. Edmund then came into the room and said to the others that Eustace had gone out quickly to see his friend, Jill. Lucy. Lucy spun around to the mirror again and this time, she was certain the others had heard it too.
"Ow. Stop pulling!" Edmund exclaimed loudly. Andrew looked at his friend with an confused expression on his face, "I'm not touching you." Andrew spoke only to feel his arm being pinched. Lucy gasped and looked towards her brother. "Oh Ed." she whispered. Soon the trio felt as if they were moving at a impossible speed only to be dropped onto a grassy clearing in the middle of a wood. The trio lay there. Motionless. They lay there, just as they would if they were asleep. As they lay there, a familiar young man walked towards the clearing and saw the adults lying on the grass and smiled. He crouched down and then sat beside a semi-conscious Lucy. He sat and waited. Waited for his friends to awake.
