That evening; Edmund, Caspian, and Andrew were riding through the woods shouting out to Lucy. They told the army to wait until Edmund's signal. They shouted and called but they heard nothing. Suddenly the same familiar, lime green mist appeared. "Caspian." Edmund shouted. Sliding off his steed, he drew his sword. The mist was making whispery sounds which was very unpleasant. Oh Edmund. Edmund spun around a saw it. In the mist was the apparition of The White Witch. "You shouldn't be here. I killed you." Edmund breathed. The apparition tilted it's head and laughed evilly. She was toying him just as she had done with Peter years before. She bared her shiny white teeth at him. "Oh Edmund. King of Narnia. Well- only just." The apparition teased in a mere whisper. The two walked around in a circle. Edmund's hand felt clammy and he felt angry and scared. "What have you done to my sister?" He asked calmly.
"Nothing. She'll be safe. For now."
"Where is she?!" He yelled. The apparition simply smiled and shrugged. Raising his sword to strike down on the apparition, he suddenly couldn't lower his now risen arm. Grunting as he tried to be released from the strange restriction, the apparition just laughed. "Not so tough now, are we, King Edmund?" she cooed. All of a sudden, Edmund let go and clutched his head. He was experiencing the mother of all headaches. "Ahhh please make it stop!" He groaned as he sunk to his knees. The apparition stared down on the pained King. A evil smirk grew on her limed face. Then without warning, Edmund relaxed and his head hit the grassy floor and he lay there. Unconscious. Satisfied with her work, the apparition disappeared.Caspian soon arrived and found the unconscious king. "Edmund!" He yelled as he climbed off his horse. Racing towards Edmund, he skid down onto his knees and turned his friend over onto his back. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." A voice called out. Caspian gulped slightly and reached for his sword. Turning around and slowly standing, he saw a beautiful woman. "Who are you?" He said drawing his sword. "Someone who has something of yours." The woman smirked. Caspian jaw tensed and he pointed his sword straight at the woman's throat. "Where is she?" He threatened. The woman simply moved the blade that was centimetres away from slitting her throat and simply said, "The place where everything is hidden." Caspian looked at the woman with a concerned and confused expression on his face. That didn't make any sense. The woman laughed and then looked over towards Edmund. "He'll wake up in a moment. But your lady friend won't." Caspian Drew his sword towards the woman's throat again and seethed through clenched teeth, "Tell me where she is or I'll kill you myself."
"Like you both did to my older sister."
"Your sister?"
"Jadis. She ruled over the Hundred Year Winter. She was always so happy during the winter months growing up. But then, they came," she said gesturing towards Edmund with her head, "and they ruined her plans."
"You're- you're the sister of the White Witch." Caspian said carefully. The woman breathed in sharply.
"That's not a nice thing to say. Then again, you are a Telmarine. Am I not mistaken?" She mocked.
"You're human too. Why would you kidnap a fellow human from the planet Earth."
"There you are wrong, boy. I'm no human. I am half-Jinn half-giant. We, who, have the power to bring the stars from the Heavens. From the world of Carne." The woman coolly said. Caspian glared at her and asked again where Lucy was. Again she said her previous answer then vanished.Edmund started to awake by that point and asked what had happened. Caspian told him where Lucy might be. "What in the world does that mean?" Edmund said as they rode to join Andrew. "I'm not sure but I know someone who might know where this place is. Follow me." Caspian said picking up speed.
