"Lucy!" Edmund Pevensie shouted up the stairs of their home. It was a cold September morning and Edmund was shouting at his younger sister to make her hurry. "Come on Lu! We'll miss the train!" he continued. Lucy was stood in front of the mirror and straightened her shirt. She was eighteen and going to Cambridge with Edmund and a University friend of his, Andrew Lowe, to visit their cousin, Eustace. The shirt she was wearing was a bit too tight for her but due to the rationing of material, she had to make do. Susan, her older sister, was in America again with the oldest of the children- well, young adults, Peter. Peter had just finished University and travelled to America to get into a medical school. Lucy exhaled deeply, a thing she did when she was nervous. She pulled on a brave smile and turned away from the mirror and walked out of the room.

"Finally. Thought you'd gone to Narnia." Edmund chuckled as Lucy came down the stairs. Narnia was a country that Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy had ruled over and discovered. Lucy discovered Narnia first in the back of a wardrobe in Professor Kirke's back spare room whilst she and her siblings were evacuated during the war. She told the others, and Edmund, who was rather cruel and horrid to Lucy, said there was no such thing. He constantly teased her until he, too, stumbled into Narnia and met Jadis. Jadis was a evil witch who called herself Queen of Narnia and made Narnia enchanted by having forever winter but never Christmas. But that's a tale for another time. "Oh I do wish we could go back to Narnia! Oh it does bring back such lovely memories! Oh Ed..." Lucy sighed as she shrugged on her coat. Andrew chuckled and opened the door. The three trooped out and closed the door after them. Andrew opened the car door and let Lucy go in first. A true gentleman. He slammed the door shut and walked to the drivers side and clambered in. Edmund sat in the back with Lucy. Little did the two Pevensies know, that wish was to be granted very, very soon.
