After apologising to Lucy for his outburst, Edmund walked towards the sables and saddled a horse and rode off. He needed to clear his head. Lucy was lying in the meadow out back of the castle. Lucy. She sat bolt right up. "Aslan?" She whispered. She looked about her but saw nothing. Suddenly she looked towards the woods and saw Andrew exiting them. Huffing in annoyance, she lay back down. He walked over to her and sat now beside her. "It's a shame nobody else knows of Narnia." Andrew said softly. Lucy shook her head and told him of Professor Diggory Kirke. Andrew's eyes widened. That mad old man he met two years ago had been to Narnia as well. Shaking his head in disbelief, he chuckled. "What's so funny?" Lucy said turning her head towards him. He looked at the eighteen year old and smiled. He leant down and his lips brushed against hers. The plump lips of Andrew rested softly onto Lucy's own. The kiss was sweet and short. Pulling away from her, Andrew realised what he had done. "Lucy- I can explain-" he stuttered but he couldn't. Lucy had already risen to her feet and was running back towards Caspian's castle. She ran straight to her chambers and threw herself onto the bed. Lucy. Lifting her head, she darted around her. "Aslan, help us. What's this new evil?" Lucy wept. She looked towards a mirror she recognised from Caspian's ship, The Dawn Treader. She knew the mirror was enchanted but she was curious on why it was. Climbing carefully off the bed, she walked towards the mirror. Lo and behold, there was Aslan. Stood beside her but only in her reflection. "Oh Aslan." She whispered resting a hand on the glass. The great lion bared his teeth and purred loudly. "Child, I cannot tell you for why the Grey Lady has come for that is what Caspian and your brother must discover." He purred.
"Tell me what to do Aslan."
"Think my dear child. Think. You are braver than you know. Lionesses must think."
"But Aslan. Why am I feeling this peculiar feeling?"
"Those who wish to feel love only need to see the love itself." The lion riddled. Lucy furrowed her eyebrows, confused. Wiping her face with her hands, she heard the tired sigh of the great lion and snapped open her eyes only to see herself, alone, in the reflection of the mirror. What did Aslan mean? Who was this Grey Lady? Then it dawned on her. The Grey Lady was the unknown witch.
