Chapter Two - Fight

Lilith nods her head and runs back to Phoenix Drop. Five Shadow Knights. Mom and Dad said they only existed in fairytales.

"W-What do you want?" I yell, trying my best to be brave.

"Oh we want you.." One of them says.

"What do you mean?" I say with a shaky voice.

"Well~ We want you to be a Shadow Knight darling. This is what (F/n) gets for resisting." This Shadow Knight sounded like a girl. I thought girl Shadow Knights were rare..

"How do you know my mom!?" I yell slightly.

"Don't worry sweetie, we're not going to hurt her." She says.

"Yeah...Sasha, maybe you shouldn't lie so obviously. You should know that she's going to be smart.."

"S-So...Sasha is your name?" I question her.

"Yes. Now, tell us where your mom is...we just wanna....talk." She hesitates before saying 'talk'.

"You're lying..." I whisper out of fear.

"Oh no dear! I'm telling the truth!" She laughs.

"T-This is all just some horrible, horrible dream and I'm going to wake up any second now.." I mutter to myself.

"Oh this is real. Very real." One of them says.

"You better listen to Gene. He's always right." Sasha smirks.

"L-Leave me alone!" I shout.

"What if I don't want too?" Gene says while looking my body up and down like a pervert.

I shiver. Just the sight of him made me want to tremble in fear...he was scary and I'm not going to lie about it.

"Okay. Y-You're scary. I'll admit. B-But I'll do anything to protect my family." I say nervously.

Wait a second, Vylad should be patrolling around here!

"Vylad!? Are you out there!?" I call out for him, the fear and worry very clear in my voice.

I feel something cold bound my hands together. I turn around and see....Vylad?

"Vylad what are you doing?" I plead.

He looks at Gene and shoves me over to them.

"W-What? Vylad help me!" My eyes grow with fear and the worry that I'll never see my family again.

"Alright guys that enough." I see Kate and Tori step out of the bushes. Kate had her bow and Tori had her great sword.

"AUNTIE TORI!! AUNTIE KATE!!" I say happily.

"Hey pup, you okay?" Kate asks me while glaring at Vylad.

"What is this Vylad? You agreed to come alone!" Gene yells at Vylad.

"I-I didn't know!" He says. Even he sounded scared.

I was halfway between Vylad, Tori and Gene. Gene makes a run for me and grabs me.

"EEEKK!!! HELP!!" I say while thrashing around to get out of his grip.

He gets out his sword and holds it to my throat. My eyes start watering and everyone could hear my shaky breath.

"Gene. Let her go. You said you wouldn't hurt her!" Vylad says calmly.

"Gene, or whoever you are...think this over...you're kidnapping a little girl. She doesn't deserve this." Tori says, trying it persuade him.

"No one deserves it...but I happens anyways. Besides I think she could come in handy.." He says while smelling my hair.

"GET OFF OF HER!!" Tori yells and tackles Gene. Kate fends off the other Shadow Knights and Vylad attacks Sasha.

"RUN TO PHOENIX DROP ANNALISE!" Kate and Tori yell at me.

I nod my head and run to Phoenix Drop. I still had my hands cuffed around my back but that didn't stop me.

"I'll come back to claim what was promised.." Gene says before he disappears with the other Shadow Knights.

And I keep running to Phoenix Drop..
