(There's going to be a little bit of swearing. Only one or two words ^-^)
I yell for Dante to open the gates for me, Kate, Tori and Vylad. Kate and Tori kept a close eye on him while we entered the village. I see Jay, Malachi and Levin running towards us.
"ANNALISE!!" They all shout as they engulf me in a hug.
"Guys....I can't....breathe!" I spit out.
"Oh, sorry!" They say and stop hugging me.
"Dad was so worried!" Jay says.
"Where is Dad anyways?"
"Getting his sword." He says blankly.
"Of course." I laugh.
Malachi and Levin stare at me.
"What?" I ask them.
"How in Irene's name can you stay so optimistic!?" They say together.
"I don't know, I guess it comes with y personality." I shrug and smile at them.
"Come on sis, let's go to Dad before he loses his mind." Jay says.
"Okay." I wave goodbye to Levin and Malachi.
I let Jay get ahead of me then start running up to him and jump on his back.
"GAH! ANNALISE!!" He shouts.
"Hehehe.." I giggle.
"Okay, let's go." He sighs.
He runs and I cling onto his back. He jumps up and I fly up a little, he catches me though.

Garroth and Aphmau come around the corner holding hands while me and Jay run up to Dad.
"Oh hey Aphmau.." Dad says to her while sighing.
"I'm gonna go on patrol. Love you Aphmau.." Garroth kisses her forehead and runs off to start his patrol.
"Love you too." She says smiling. She turns back to us and raises an eyebrow. "Aaron, is everything okay?" She asks with concern in her voice.
"I don't know...I haven't asked if Annalise is okay." He sighs and look over to me.
"What happened? Lilith came in screaming about how you were in trouble." I look at him.
"Oh, well maybe if I had known that Shadow Knights actually exist!" I scowl at him. "Why did you try and hide it from us!?"
"Because it's a...sensitive topic for your mother.." He says with a deadly serious face.
"What happened?" I ask, I know my dad scared other people, but not me.
He sighs. "I'll...tell you another time. I promise." He says. This was an empty promise as I liked to call it, he wouldn't actually tell me.
"Okay, we know that's bullshit so tell me now." I ask a little annoyed.
"Annalise you will not speak to me like that. I am your father. Now go inside and go to your room!" He yells. This is the time when we could scare me.
"B-But Dad.....I just want to know....because you do promises like that and never fulfil them.." I say looking down.
"Don't even try. Go to your room." He demands.
I nod my head sheepishly and walk up to my room. That usually works with Mom...I should've known that it wouldn't have worked with Dad...
