Chapter 1

Okay, so this is my first upload. I have a feeling that not many people are going to read this, but hey it's worth a try.

Chapter 1

"Would you rather freeze to death or burn to death? Personally, i'd like to freeze because I can find a way to warm up, but if I was hot then i'd have no way of cooling down. What do you think?"

Something soft hit me in the head, knocking me out of my day dream.

"Yeah, I agree" I lied, I had no idea what my best friend had just said to me. I picked up the stuffed toy that he had threw at me and held it in my hands.

"Luke, did you even hear what I said?"

I looked at him. His hair was sticking up in all different directions. His legs crossed. A can on energy juice clutched tightly in his hand. I watched as he placed the can on his lips, his eyes locked with mine.

"yes, and I agree with you" yet again I lied.

He stood from the spot he claimed on my bedroom floor and placed himself next to me on my bed. He tilted his head and began to talk. "are you sure? you've been acting weird lately"

"Jason, i'm fine, honestly. I'm just really tired." I lied.

He gave me a half a smile. "hm, okay. Lets go to bed then? anyway, we've got the meet up tomorrow!"

I nodded and climbed under the covers. I felt his body lay next to mine. I closed my eyes and focused on his breathing.

I lied yet again. Lying to Jason is becoming a regular thing. I really can't tell him what's going on inside of my head. His head isn't exactly care free so I really can't bother him with my own troubles.
