"Babe, where can I hang this?"

Sam walked out of the kitchen, into the living room. He tapped his chin, thinking of a place where I could hang the frame holding my college degree.

"Hang it by mine, babe." He pointed, taking it from me to put on the wall.

"Thanks." I smiled. "I guess I'll go upstairs to finish unpacking." I told him.

"Need help?"

"No, I think I got it." I said, picking up a box before going to the stairs. "But if I need you, I'll just yell your name."

Since I didn't have to work this weekend, I felt it was best for me to go ahead and pack my things to bring over to Sam's place. It's been nearly 2 years since we've been dating, and we finally made the decision - together - that we should move-in and live under one roof. I was always at his place, and since he just bought his house, we both decided that me moving in with him was best.

This was something new for me. For one, being with Sam has been the longest relationship I've been in. Plus, I've never lived with a guy before, so I can say I was skeptical when he first bought the idea up. But I thought, we might as well. We're always together, and we both see us getting married in the future, so why not?

In the year that has passed, lots of wonderful things have happened. For one, the people closest to me, and I, graduated college. That was such an amazing day for us, nothing but positive energy surrounded us. My mother threw us the biggest party, and all of our families came together to celebrate. To top it off, Blake proposed to Aaliyah. So, of course, I begged to plan the wedding.

After graduation, it didn't take long for me to get a job like I thought I would. I now work for Power 105.1, the best radio station for the west coast, right here in L.A. I don't have my own show like I begged for, but I'm a co-host for Big Boy's Neighborhood, and I truly do enjoy my job.
