"Well aren't you miss popular." She laughed once I finished telling her everything. I ended up calling Gabrielle on the phone because I knew it'd be much more convenient. "I'm not sure if that's the title I want around here." My hair fell back onto my pillow as I laid down on the bed. "Well if it contains cute boys just go with it." Gabrielle had always been a boy crazy type. She didn't sleep around though because she kept her priorities straight. She really has only had two relationships that lasted over six months. The realationships ended with her breaking up with him. All I knew was that she lost interest.

"When do you think you can come visit?" I asked. "I actually could this weekend, but I'm guessing that's too soon." I rolled over and got comfortable under the blankets. "Of course it's not! You can help me explore the town a bit." "Ok, sounds good. Uhm, today's the 1st so i'll see you on Friday, which is the 4th. When summer starts I just lose track of the dates." She chuckled."Don't worry I do too. I'll see you then. I cant wait!" We said our goodbyes and with that I hung up the phone.

I walked out to the living room to see my mom picking through some boxes filled with antiques. "You slept awhile." She said looking up at me. "Yeah, it's been a long day." I was considering asking her about dad, but I decided not to start anything. "Why don't you get some fresh air and walk outside for awhile? I hear there's a pool and a tennis court. Go check them out for me and see if they're any good." I dragged my feet over to the door. "Fine. I won't be gone long." I opened the front door and headed down the stairway.

When I stepped outside I realized I was still in pajama pants and a t-shirt. Honestly I didnt care too much about walking out barefoot and in pajamas so I just continued. It's not like I know anyone here. I walked through the parking lot and toward the entrance of the complex. All of a sudden I heard a lot of barking from behind me. Before I had time to turn around a dog was innocently jumping up on me and attempting to lick my face. "Calm down!" I yelled to the dog trying to push her dirty paws off my t-shirt. "Shit, come here girl! C'mon!" I heard a familiar voice call behind me. The dog finally got off of me and ran back to it's owner. When I turned around my eyes met Luke's and I smiled at him. "We always meet in interesting ways. Yesterday it was crying at 2am and now it's me getting attacked by your dog." He let out a laugh and grabbed ahold of his dog's collar. He walked over towards me. He was wearing skinny dark jeans and a loose tank top. Suprisingly the look worked on him. "She wasn't trying to attack you. I swear." As he got closer to me, I noticed how tall he was. I stared at him towering above me. "Are you checking me out?" He said smirking. My cheeks flushed and I glanced away from him. "I had just realized how tall you were." He bit his lip and held back a laugh. "Excuses" He coughed under his breath. I slapped his arm playfully. "Shut up." I couldn't keep myself from smiling. "No shame. I'm totally checking you out in those pink cheetah printed pajama pants." He joked. "Oh whatever, I was just too comfortable to change." He grinned. "That's alright, we all have those days." I looked up at him and smiled for what must've been the millionth time. "How about we change that lunch date to a dinner date for tonight?" I asked. His eyes widened in suprise. "Sounds great."
