LUKE P.O.V.
When I entered back into the empty apartment, I let out a sigh that i had held in for the last couple hours. I fucking lied to her. Sure I've only known her for a couple days, well actually even less, but if I want to even have her still talk to me I can't continue a lie.
What would she think of me?
It wasn't that bad was it?
The lie doesn't effect her.
I just think she'd want me being honest with her.
All the worry caused me a headache and I decided to do what I was best at to calm myself down.
I picked up my worn down guitar and ran my fingers across the strings. I sat on the carpeted floor and opened up my song journal infront of me.
Calum and I had started a cheesy love song, but I had no passion for it then. Although now I was buzzing with ideas.
Late one night 2am-
The light from your smile warmed my skin.
Up underneath the stars discussing life.
You made me realize I was the wrong to someone's right.
As I scribbled down lyrics onto the paper it became obvious that this was all about Alice. I quickly tore out the paper I had just wrote a verse on and threw it into the trash.
Was I stable enough to have a girl in my life?
She won't even want me.
What was I thinking to ask her out so fast?
I layed my head back onto the dresser behind me and set my guitar off my lap.
I'm a fucking mess.
Her bright smile and blue eyes froze like a picture in my mind.
Alice has brought back the insanity I thought I had gotten rid of months ago. Yet this time, I don't need therapy.
Whatever it was about this girl was driving me mad.
As I recollected my thoughts I heard the front door to the apartment slam shut so I quickly stood up. My dad bursted throught the door with tears rimming his aching eyes. "Luke," His face tightened into a confused and worried expression, "your mom called."
