One

Wendy POV
"Wendy... Wendy... Wendy.... Wendy wake up!" I felt someone rip off my bed covers. I curled up into a ball.

"No.. Leave me alone.." I groaned.

"You know I could never do that. Come on Wendy! We're gonna be late for the first day of school!" I shot up.

"Schools today?! I thought it was in a week! Oh, I gotta get ready!" I ran into my bathroom.

"Ok.. First day back. You got this. This is gonna be great! Eh, hopefully.." I talked to myself in the mirror.

"You're talking to yourself again." My bestfriend, Sherria, said standing in the doorway.

"It's the first day back though! You know how nervous I get about these things!"

"You'll be fine. You got me and Carla." She pointed to her. Carla waved and walked up to me.

"Girl, you don't need to worry. We're here for you."

"Ok. Just, you know how everyone treated me last year!"

"This will be a normal year. Last year, people were just weird. Besides, do you care what they say?"

"Not at all."

"Good! Now, get dressed! We have to leave!"

"On it!"

"We'll be waiting outside."

"Kk."

I brushed my teeth, and got dressed into my school uniform. I put my long blue hair into a ponytail and put on my contacts. I rushed downstairs only to see my half-brother, Natsu, and his bestfriend, Lucy.

"Where's Mom and Dad?" I asked my brother.

"Business trip."

"Well.. When will they be back?"

"Dunno."

"Ok.. Did they tell you?"

"They dunno either. Tell you more later."

"Kk." I went up to my brother. I kissed his cheek.

"Bye."

"Bye."

I walked outside.

"Girl! We need to leave NOW."

"Ok. Le- Woah!" Carla grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the school. She broke out into a run. So did Sherria. She let go off my wrist and I was running too.

We finally got to the school. The three of us were out of breath. I bent down and put my hands on my knees. After a few minutes, I got up and finally caught my breath.

"Looks like we have a few minutes to sp-"

*Ring*

I spoke to soon.

"See you guys later!" Carla left and went up the stairs of the school. She disappeared into the building.

"Gotta go to. See you!" Sherria was next. I was alone.

"My turn!" I walked into the building and walked to first period.

"Good morning Students. Hope you enjoyed the break. Now, back to work." He came out of his desk.

My teacher, Sir Gildarts, showed us our lockers and gave us other information about this year.

"Alright. Since this is the first day, you get the rest of the period off. Just don't get used to it." He went back to his desk.

"And this is where I read.." I whispered to myself. As I was about to take out my book, someone came up to me.

"Hey."
