Thirteen

Romeo watched as I bit into my hamburger angrily.

"Damn kids... think they're are better then everyone." I mumbled with my mouth filled.

I swallowed the last chunk of hamburger. I grabbed Romeos hand and pulled him off the seat.

"You." My pointer finger pointed at his chest. "Amuse me."

"Uh-" He looked around the park in a hurry.

"We could go to the--" Suddenly, he grabbed my hands and held them out with his.

"The games!" He started at them in awe.

I quickly took my hands away which made him frown. "Lets go."

I haven't been on a date in my entire life, but I know this one inst going well. At first, it started off as okay but then it moved to worse after that incident with the boys.

I defended Romeo, not because I like him, but because people like that are disgusting creatures. I hate people like those, who think they are better then others.

... Except me. I'm better then Romeo.

"Go ahead, you get five tries.Get them in at least 3 times, you get the bear." I herd a voice say.

Wait.

Somehow it seemed very familiar.

I shrugged it off knowing I was probably just imagining things. I looked up at the booth and saw-

The game. One of those basketball games.

Suddenly , I remembered my dream. I took a step back, knowing that soon the ride on the Ferris wheel is coming up.

If my dream is like this date, then I have to be prepared.

"Wendy, is everything okay?" Romeo looks confused and worried.

"For being forced to go outside on a Saturday, Just peachy." I say sarcastically. I make a okay symbol with my hands. Romeo just rolls his eyes while reaching out for a basketball.

"Don't worry Wendy,Ill win that bear for sure!" He smiled.

His smile.

My heart skipped a beat. My face was hot.

Wait.

WAIT.

MY BODY IS BETRAYING ME. I have read enough manga to know whats going on.

Nope, nope, nope. I am not going to allow my self to fall in love with this goofy idiot. I know whats best. Never talk to this guy after today.

I am not saying I could ever fall for this idiot but, like I said, I have read enough manga to know that is a possibility.

Like a 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance.

"Congrats sir, you win the bear!" I snapped out of my thoughts real quick.

"T-thanks.." I hugged the bear. "It's so fluffy!" I said, faking my excitement.

"Huh?" Romeo must of noticed this and tutored his head.

He gasped. "Wendy, let's go on that!" He pointed to something behind me. I turned around.

Oh no.

Oh nooooooooo.

"Nope. No way, uh-uh. Find someone else to go on with!"

"But Wendy the drop machines are so fun!" Romeo pouts.

"Those rides?! They aren't 'fun'! They are death! Do you know how many people die of those each year?!"

"I thought you said these were death!" Romeo yelled as the machine rose higher.

"Don't mock me." I turned to have the back of my head to Romeo. I herd him laugh.

"Your cute when your mad."

"Shut up , stupid Romeo." I blushed a tiny bit.

I looked down at how high we were. I yelped and tried to curl up into a ball.

"Hey- don't worry. There is nothing to be scared of." Romeo held out his hand in front of me.

I looked at him in disgust which made him roll his eyes.

"Just think of it as something to hold on to." I looked at Romeo like he was crazy.

We stopped rising up. We had to be like 100 feet in the air or more.

I hesitated but gave him my hand. He quickly kissed it. I blushed.

I turned to him and scrunched up my forehead. "YOU SON OF A-"

"WOOSH!" We dropped. I could hear Romeo laughing hysterically.

I squeezed his hand so tight that he squeaked. I laughed hysterically.

We landed at the ground safely. The machine allowed us to get out.

"Ya know Romeo, that was fun." I smiled evilly at Romeo.

"I think those rides are death.." Romeo held his red hand in his other hand.

"Since you're saying they're fun... I guess you liked my kissing you..?" Romeo grinned .

"I-idiot..."

"You're blushing." Romeo said smiling happily.

"Am not."

"Are too." I stuck my tongue out at him.

Romeo gasped. "Ferries wheel!"

I looked up in front of me.

There was a Ferris Wheel.
