Censored Cursing. I mean not really, but wutever

Wendy's POV
I sighed and went up on stage. When the next person was picked, I looked to see who it was.

Once I saw, I was so shocked. My jaw dropped.
What is he doing here?!

I quickly got over my shock and gave him a glare. Romeo just gulped then smirked. He walked up on stage and I crossed my arms.

"Why are you here?!" I yelled in a whisper.

"What? I can't like acting?"

"You obviously just came here to see me!"

"Maybe, Nerd Princess." I kinda turned a little pink. This is the first time someone is chasing after me. It feels good.

"Y-yeah? Fine. Just don't talk to me."

"Tsk. Did you forget already? The scene."

"You know what I meant."

Romeo's POV

"Alright! You will to little scenes about emotions. First off, confused."

"Wait.. So why do you want to date me?"

I was confused, but quickly caught on. She was doing a scene of when I first asked her out.

"Because, Nerd Princess, you have caught my eye."

"Why didn't you just go with the other girls? Aren't you popular?"

"That's true, Howe-"

"Scene change! Happiness!" Let me finish my sentence!

"I have a date!" Wendy seemed excited.

"With who?" I asked.

"With this kid from my school, Romeo! He asked me out today." So this was a happy memory to her? I blushed a little.

"Oh, really?! Lucky! Most girls don't even get a chance with him because he's so popular!"

"Narcissist.." I herd her mumble. I will admit, it stung a little.

"Yeah, he's so handsome too! He is so cool!" She sounded like a little kid with a crush. It also made me happy.

"I bet so." I smiled at her. She walked to the other side of the stage. Back towards me. She looked like she was getting ready for another scene. One she did not expect.

"Final scene: Anger! Go!"

"Wendy, why won't you talk to me? I'm sorry I didn't come to the date, but don't stay out of school for a week because of it! You sho-"

"So you think I stayed out of school, because of you?!" She started to raise her voice. She wasn't facing me.

"What? It wasn't because of me?" She turned around and marched towards me.

"Why do you really think I would of stayed out of school for a week just because of a date where you never showed up?! You want to know the real reason I was out?! Huh?!"

She grabbed my shirt. Her head was down.

"It was because my parents died! How narcissist can you be?! Not everything's about 'the all knowing Romeo Conbolt'!"

She looked up at me with teary eyes and losses my shirt. God, how much of an idiot am I?! I thought it was because of me, but it was her parents!

"Just.. Just leave me alone.."

Suddenly, we started to hear clapping. We both looked at the audience and saw people standing up.

"Good Job you guys! Wendy, excellent performance as always. Never disopoint! And the newcomer, Mr.."

"Romeo. Romeo Conbolt."

"Fantastic! Your performance was absolutely spectacular! You two have some great chemistry!"

"Thank you."

"The performance was amazing! It was almost like it was real. To top that, it was following a series. Great job, you two. Take five!"

"Yes." Wendy then quickly walked of stage. I followed. The doors opened, then shut tight.

She ran away, my guess she ran away from me. I lost track of her so I searched around the school for her. After a few minutes, I found her washing her face in a water fountain. She had been crying.

"W-Wendy?"

"Go away."

"Please Wendy. Just look at me."

"No."

I was not used to that word, being popular and all. Most people would have done what I asked in an instant. Not Wendy Marvell.

"What? Surprised that I'm not gonna follow your every command like everyone else?" She still wouldn't talk to me.

"Wendy, please. Just.. Talk to me."

"Im not."

"Why not?"

"Because I hate you."

I hate you. Those words just kept repeating on and on and on. Not stopping.

"To be fair.. you did make me realizes on thing." She looked at me smiling.

"You made me realize how much of an a**hole you are." She walked away back to the auditorium. Suddenly, I herd running footsteps. I turned around and immediately felt a hand on my cheek.

"WHAT THE HELL!  HOW COULD YOU!"

"Carla..? And Sherria?"

"HOW COULD YOU JUST ASSUME THE PROBLEM WAS YOU?!"

"I-"

"And to think she had a bit of hope of you not turning out to be a complete a**hole." Sherria said, leaning against the wall.

"What..?"

"You herd me."

"She had hope for me?"

"Yeah." She walk towards me. Her hands were behind her head. She pushed Carla back a little.

"I could tell she was happy to go on a date with you. I have never seen her that way before. That's why I went out of my way to try and give you her address and kept texting her that he'll pull through, that it wouldn't be just another prank. But you just had to go and prove us wrong." She took her hands away from her head and sighed.

"After that whole night went down, in the morning her parents have.. Died. That's when she got sad... That's the whole reason she stayed out of school. To get her emotions in check."

"Oh..Well then, I need to talk to her." Sherria raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure? I think you should wait."

"No. Now."

"Ok then." She smiled at me. "Get back to the auditorium. I hope things turn out well."

"Thank you, Sherria." I ran back to the auditorium.

I'm coming, Wendy!
