Eighteen

Wendy's POV

"How about Highschool Musical?"

"That's so great! Amazing!" Everyone shouts simultaneous over each other looking at Lisanna in the center. She curtsies at the praise.

"Great. Highschool Musical." Romeo writes HIGHSCHOOL MUSICAL down as well.

"Since you all seem happy about that, we will go with that. Any objections?"

Silence.

"Okay. Highschool Musical. Um.. alright. Since Gildarts doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon, let's do casting. Who-"

"Who wants Troy?" Romeo says, cutting me off.

"I think Romeo-kins needs to be Troy!" Lisanna shouts, getting up from her seat again.

"Anyone else? Objections?"

No one answered, mainly because they all loved him. The guys were on board too.

"Yes! Troy!" Romeo said, making a mental note.

"Gabriella?"

"Me!"

"Lisanna as Gabriella." I said, watching her do a celebratory dance. Romeo looked at me with a sad look.

"Isn't she your girlfriend? Do you want her to be your love interest?" I whispered to him. He still frowned at me, slowly looking back at the class.

"Okay, next."

The casting was over and Gildarts was still on the phone. Geez, that's a long call. Is it his wife or something?

Anyway, everyone already has their part. Some people are crew, some are cast, some are crew and cast, and me- I'm the director.

We all talked it out and are planning to stay late after school until show day and practice. Our first meeting: Tomorrow. I'm in charge of getting the scripts tonight. Then direct, which sounds easy.

How hard could this be?
