Nine

"Wendy." I herd a voice. I was surrounded by white.

"H-hello?"

"It's me, Romeo!"

"Oh, hey."

"It's time."

"Time..?" I didn't understand what he meant.

"The date!" Suddenly, light was in my eyes. There was a sound like a door was opening. Then I was standing in front of an amusement park. When I looked behind me, there was a big door.

"Let's go to the roller coasters first!" My hand was grabbed and pulled forward. I had to run to keep up.

Next thing I knew, we were already in a seat going up hill on the coaster.

"You ready?" He grabbed my hand as we went down the drop.

Suddenly right as we went down the drop, I was at a game. It was a basketball carnival game.

"Go ahead, you get 5 try's. Get them in at least 3 times, you get the bear." The guy running the stand pointed to a huge pink teddy bear.

"Don't worry Wendy, I'll win that for sure!" As he was about to throw the ball, I was sitting down at a drop machine. The sun was setting.

"Hold on!" We were high up in the air, the highest the machine could go until we dropped.   He grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"Here we go!" The machine started to drop but then I was on a Ferris wheel. It was black outside. We were at the top.

"I had fun today. I hope you did too."

"I did." I couldn't control what came out of my mouth.

"Have I proven you wrong?"

"What..?"

"I know you're not the luckiest when it comes to dating.. So I want to prove to you that some guys are still good... like me."

"Romeo..."

"Wendy," He came closer to me. "I like you. I really do. Do you feel the same?"

"I-uh-" He was leaning closer and closer and closer. As we were about to lock lips, I woke up. Panting.

"W-what was that?!" I was red.

"Wendy, are you ok?" Natsu yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I yelled back. No, I'm not. Why was I dreaming that? Were those little bits of the date? I shook my head.

"Come on, pick up..." I was calling Carla. She would know what this ment.

"Carla! We need to talk."

"Thank God you're ok! What is it?!"

"I need help."

"Help..?"

"Yeah. I just had a dream."

"About?"

"Me and Romeo."

"What?! About what?!"

"The date."

"What happened?"

"We were at a carnival. Skip towards the end.. something big was about to happen... I can't remember what.. but that caused me to wake up in a cold sweat!"

"Something big?! Do you think it could of been a prank?!"

"No.. It wasn't that.."

"A.. a kiss?" I turned red.

"A kiss?! Why would you think that?!"

"That's how most dates end."

"Maybe?! No! It has to be something else! He doesn't like me!"

"It could be! Maybe you like him!"

"Impossible!"

"We-"

"Bye." I hung up. I needed to find out what happened. It could be important. Maybe she was right. It might of been a kiss. No! It has to be a prank!

"Ugh!" I groaned. Why is my life being complicated!
