Romeo POV
"What did I tell you?!" My aunt yelled at me from atop the stairs.
"I had to get home by 3."
"And what time is it?!"
"It is 3:07." 7 minutes late. Chill.
"Why are you late?!"
"Somebody stole my bike.."
"Romeo! How could you let someone steal your bike?!"
"I was in school when it happened."
"That's no excuse! Go to your room!"
"How was I supposed to know if I was at sch-"
"Room. Now! You are grounded for a month!
"Fine!" I ran upstairs to my room. Why did my aunt have to be so mean?! How was I supposed to stop my bike from being stolen if I was sitting down in class?! I groaned. I slammed my door shut and jumped up on my bed with my back to the mattress.
I wish I could escape it all. At least I have school as an escape. It's a distraction from my life. Wendy especial- WENDY.
I sat up from my bed.
I totally forgot tonight was the date! I'm grounded for a month too.. What am I going to do?! I'll just send her a text. Yeah! I'll reschedule for.. next month..? It's the best I can do.
I grabbed my phone and started to type away.
To: Wendy
Can I have a rain check? I was grounded for a month.
"Whew.." I laid back down on my bed. The weight of the world was lifted of my shoulders now that the text was sent to Wendy.
