Protection, Zack Merrick, All Time Low

I just want to take a moment and let you guys know how happy you're making me with these veiws and votes. It means so much to me. This has so far been my favorite chapter to write, and I hope you guys love it. :)

Three weeks later

Zack

"Lex can I talk to you for a bit?" I ask hesitantly after sound check while Kim is talking to Adam about plans for the show.

He nods, and I walk with him outside and behind the bus, "I know what you're going to ask." He says.

"You do?"

"You want to have sex with her man, I don't care if you do, just not around where anyone can hear or--"

"Alex dude no that isn't what I was going to ask!" I laugh.

"I don't want to feel the bus rocking. Anyway, ask what you were going to ask."

"I- I want her to move in with me instead of you." He gives me a stern look, so I continue, "I know it's early, but we have been together in the same bed for a long time, and I don't want to go back to sleeping alone when I have the woman I love."

His face softens a little and there's a moment of silence that made me feel like it took a lot longer than it did, "I'll think about it."

"Please do, Alex."

"You really love her?"

"I do, and I plan on telling her tonight when I ask her to move in with me."

"Alright man, you can have her move in with you, but only if she's comfortable with it."

"Thank you Alex."

"You better marry her one day."

"I haven't thought about that yet, Lex, it's way too soon, but I do love her." I chuckle.

"I said one day, I didn't say now." He chuckles, and pats my back. "Now, go make dinner reservations since our show is tomorriw, make it special if you're telling her you love her for the first time." I nod and get on my phone to make a reservation for a nice restaurant recommended by Google called Le Safari, a french resturaunt.

I came up to her, and kissed her nose, "Wear something nice tonight, I'm taking you out. I'll pick you up at five, see you later." I then peck her lips and head out of the bus in a venue car.

I look back at her and wink because she is standing in aw, and I drive away to a store like Kohls to get dress pants and a nice shirt.

I call a florist and arrange a bunch of flowers so I could bring them to her when I pick her up. My phone rings, and I see that it's a call from Alex, "Do I need to get you a hotel?"

"Alex I don't want to have sex with her yet." I blush, looking around making sure no one heard me. "I want her to know I truly love her without having seen her naked."

Even though I'm sure it would make me love her more.

"Alright, I just figured you guys would want time alone." Alex laughs.

"We're okay." I grin. "Thank you, Alex."

"No problem man." I hang up and make sure I look good after I change, I buy a cologne and make sure I smell great, and I smile in the mirror, as I practice telling her I love her before I drive away.

Then, I get an idea, and turn around.

Kimberly

I finish my makeup by putting on a matte dark red liquid lipstick, positive it won't move around in case we kiss, who am I kidding, I know we will kiss, and I step into my pale blue dress with a black bow around it, I tie in black wedges and floral earrings and I call Alex into the bathroom, nervous.
