Two months later, Lisa is six months pregnant.

I was working out in the back yard, tiredly waiting on Lisa to come by so we can finish the plans of her baby shower.
The September weather was nice, it was about 72°F, I had to use a calculator, so I would understand what it meant.
I threw on different clothes and grabbed my notebook for her shower, they had already gotten him a crib, and a car seat, they even painted the babies walls a yellow, and it's the cutest thing.
Lisa knocked on the door, hunched over. "I think we may be having a problem, but I don't want Alex to know yet. Pre-term, maybe. Drive me to the hospital." She says quickly and erratically.
I help her to the car quickly and speed down to the hospital.
I quickly ask a nurse for a wheel chair and to be wheeled up to maternity, Lisa is hot on my tail and she sits down slowly in the chair.
"My water hasn't broken, I don't think it's that bad, but I'm worried, this is my second one today, and I don't know if it's a contraction."
"How far along?"
"Six months."
"Alright ma'am, we can get you an ultrasound."
They do so, checking everything out. "Do I need to call my husband?" Lisa asks
"No ma'am. It's just Braxton Hicks, it's no big deal. These will happen every now and then, but your baby is very healthy and will last till your due date, no worries." Lisa lets out a huge sigh of relief, and I do too.
We get back in the car, sighing, and thanking the Lord that nothing was wrong with little Lucas.
"I don't want to tell Lex about this, he would be very mad I didn't call him."
"Alright." I pause, "I just hope he doesn't find out and hate me for it, now, lets get planning."
