Kimberly
In the middle of the night the Monday after having dinner with Alex and Lisa, I wake up in a flash, groaning in pain, sweating like mad. I take no time running into the bathroom, puking up my dinner. I breathe heavily when I'm done, leaning my head on my arm that's resting on the toilet, I dry heave a couple times, and then something finally comes up.
I tie my hair up into a little bun at the top of my head, waiting for more to come, but it doesn't, so I decide to brush my teeth and rinse my mouth out, and then lay back down.
Zack craddles me, and I smile because he's still asleep, and he wanted to hold me, even in his sleep. As I start thinking unable to fall asleep, I think about the downsides and upsides to being sick.
Downsides: Zack has to see me like this, that's a very huge downside, if you ask me. I probably won't be able to hold anything down. I'll miss work. I'd probably have to see a doctor. Who knows how long I'll even be sick? Also, if Zack is as stuborn as I can predict, he might get sick too, and two of us being sick doesn't sound fun at all. I might miss the vacation we have planned this weekend.
Upsides: I get to miss work.
I slowly fall asleep, trying not to cry out in pain, looking at the clock, two in the morning. I can do this, I'll be okay.

"Kim, wake up, or you'll be late for work." Zack coos, rubbing my shoulders. I groan and look at the clock. "Kimmy." He sings. Nine in the morning, well, at least I had gotten sleep.
"You might want to move." I say, hoarsely. I check and make sure my hair is still back, but it isn't, I run my hand through my hair as I jump out of the bed, I throw up again, and Zack holds my hair back, rubbing my shoulders. I feel bad for him, because he's watching this. He doesn't need to.
I take deep breaths, trying to calm my stomach back down, I get up off of the floor, and I brush my teeth, not looking at Zack.
"I know you aren't pregnant," He says, "But you feel a little warm. Should I call in sick for you?" I nod, and continue scrubbing the fowl taste from my mouth.
"I'll also make an appointment with the doctor." He rubs my shoulders. "Are you in pain, baby?"
"Yeah." I whine. "It's probably a bug or something." I explain.
"Alright, Kimbers. Do you want me to take off too?" He asks.
"No, that's okay."
"I'm taking off long enough to take you to the doctor, though." He promises.
"Alright." I lean back onto the counter.
He comes back with a glass of water, handing it to me, "You should probably consume a lot of fluids," He says. "I'll go call Nano and the doctor, you go lay back down."
I nod and turn to lay back down, I'm extremely freezing. I bundle myself in the blankets, and I hear Zack down the hall talking to Nano.
I shiver, and I drink water, sitting up, I grab my phone and start watching Friends on Netflix. About ten minutes in, Zack comes back in.
"Nano was pretty chill," Zack explains, "You just have to come into work Friday to finalize tour plans. And your appointment is at one, I'll be back to take you."
"Oh, and don't worry, I got my flu shot, I can cuddle with you or kiss you." He smiles and kisses me, "I've got to go, but I'll see you at 12:45." I nod, and relax back into my pillows, still watching Friends.
A few hours later, Zack comes home and takes me to the doctor. He kisses my cheek and we head out.
I'm wearing one of his huge warm hoodies that smell like him, I love his natural scent, honestly, even after a show and he's all smelly.
The doctor takes us in, and confirms that it is the flu and gives me meds for my nasuea abd tells me to pick up Theraflu.
We leave the doctor and get all of the things she told us to get, she also had said that it was very cute how Zack watched over me.
He cuddled with me a little while, keeping me warm, till he knew he needed to get back to the studio. I was probably really hot, so I'm suprised he held me so close for that long.
I fell asleep after he left, and on the brightside, I've been doing much better since I had taken the medications.
