Zack

Kim hasn't moved much, and she's been bawling like crazy in the middle of the night.

I fear for her, and I don't let her out of my sight.

"Zack." She cries, falling into my arms. "I don't get it. Why would someone hurt the sweetest women in the world? I think it was Denny and that he did it to hurt me." She sobs.

"Hey, you'll see her again." I comforted her. We talk a lot about what we think happens after death, and I think that we go to heaven, and I think that God wouldn't ever send someone that sweet to hell, but this is just what we believe. We won't ever know until we die.

"I know." She says, drying her tears. "It'll all be okay." She kisses me, and it felt great, because this is the first time she's kissed me since she td me she had a bad feeling about that day.

I wish I could protect her from everything harmful.

Kimberly

I got up in front of a bunch of people that I've been close to in my life after my dad spoke, and also after Hannah spoke. I was the last speaker, and then we were going to lower my aunt to the ground.

"They say that things happen for a reason, and there better be a good reason behind this one. Lydia had helped raise me. Lydia was there for me through many things. She was there through my frst heart break, and through my depression. She was there for me when a lotnof things had happened, and so was her daughter. I love my family, very much, and my Aunt Lydia was definitely a person that words can't describe.

"I remember when I had first start my period, abs I had ran to her crying about how I thought I was pregnant. She had looked at me, asked what was wrong, and she had just laughed and laughed, and then she sat Hannah abd I down to talk about our cycles, and also she gave us 'the talk.'

"My most recent memorie with her was when I had called to tell her I was engaged. She was so happy, and she didn't hold back her happy tears.

"My aunt was an amazing woman, and I loved her with all of my heart, and I know for a fact, that she's watching over her family.

"People die, it's the end of their cycle of life, I just didn't see it coming so soon, but I'll see her again one day." I smile and walk away from the podium, and we sing her into the grave.

That made it sound like we sounded awful, but we didn't. I could hear my parents voices, and they sure did give Alex a wonderful voice, and I could hear how beautiful Zacks was, too.

I know that I won't take my family for granted, death is just a thing that happens.
