Royalty is turning 1 next month.  July 22. Yes, funny how fast time flew. She's been quite a handful as far as keeping me up , she's not as bad from when she first came home but she's bad enough.

Chris's birthday passed, yes he's big 20, but he didn't do nothing special. He spent it with us actually, we did a lil celebration, then he hung w/ his homies. None major.

As far as my birthday, I turned 19 but I didn't do nothing but spend it with my other love of my life, Royalty. Chris showered me with gifts I'm in love with. But my favorite is the gold locket necklace ( picture above ) but with ' Maria & Chris ' engraved on the front and when you open it , you have a picture of I and him from around when we first met on the inside. I loved it. I wear it practically everyday.

On the other hand, Chris has been a big help, as expected. Him and his issues are getting better and better as time passes, we probably get into some small arguments but we bounce right back. He hasn't got in my face or seemed like he was going to hit me. If he gets mad enough, he'd just walk away or stop talking.

He's been good with Royalty also, actually great. He learned how to change her diaper successfully after almost 7 months of trying, he once changed her poop diaper and she wasn't finished when he started changing her so it got on him. He was so mad. But it was so funny.

Chris has started his music career back up. We still get to see him for the most part of it. He isn't home all the time though, I'm fine with it as long as he's doing what he's saying he's out there doing.

I highly doubt he'd jeopardize his family by doing something stupid when he seen I was really going to leave him and how hard he's already fighting for my trust and me period. I'll still leave room for disappointment though.

Chris is now at the studio, he should be home by 7.

" Royalty , get that out your mouth " I said , taking the piece of paper she picked up. She's been crawling around getting into stuff all day.

She's so bad now that she's crawling and almost walking.

I picked her up and put her in her walker while I got up to prepare dinner. I was about to create some mashed potatoes , green beans and steak.

I got the food started. Specifically the steak since it'll take a little longer than both the potatoes and green beans.

" Ro Rooo, hey mama's baby " I said talking in my baby voice & playing with her cheeks. Chris started calling her that and I've found myself calling her it since.

She started jumping up and down in her walker , smiling and biting her fingers.

" Hey baby ! " I said picking her up and twirling in a circle with her and kissing her cheeks.

I can't believe I was so afraid to receive such a blessing at first. I love her so much, at first it was hard but I got the hang of it. She's my big bundle of joy. She keeps me up at night now because she's just always trying to fight her sleep or play instead of going to bed. I wouldn't trade her for the world though, her or the person it was by. I'm really loving my new family.

I put her down in her walker so I could go check on the steak. Once I put her down, I pulled the walker back into the kitchen so I could watch her. This girl practically walked it out of the kitchen so I had to bring it back.

The steak was going take 25-30 minutes to get done so I still have 20-25 more minutes until it's done.
