Day Before Thanksgiving 

" I just got off the phone with my mom , she called to confirm that she coming but she refusing to talk to you " Chris said coming upstairs

" Ion know why, I ain't did shit to her but hey , I could careless anyway, as long as my mom and my peoples coming. Ion gotta say 2 words to her ass " I said rolling my eyes.

" Don't start getting sensitive, babe. You know how she is, she's crazy.. by the time she get here tomorrow it's gone be different thing though, chill. I'll talk to her "

" Yup " I said rolling my eyes again

" Roll your eyes one more time and ima give you something to roll your eyes about" he said eyeing me as he walked out the room.

" Hey , did you call your dad yet ? " he said peeping his head back in

Ugh, I tried to make him forget about it.

" Ugh, no " I said as I snapped Royalty's onesie.

" You want me to do it ? " he said sitting down.

He leaned down and I gave him a long, intense kiss.

He chuckled , " Don't start something you can't finish " he said as he left out the room.

" Yeah, I wanted to know did you want to stop by for thanks giving , we having a little get together at my place tomorrow " I said to the phone as it was on speaker. I couldn't feed royalty and hold the phone to my ear at the same time.

" Oh my-- umm, yes ! Never thought you'd ask, I sure was gonna sit this Thanksgiving out at my hotel.. um, is it fine that your brother comes? "

" Sure , I guess " I said

" Great. I'm so excited, I'll text you tomorrow and ask for the address "

" Okay "  I said hanging up.

" You know that man sounded pretty excited to come by tomorrow especially since he had no where else to go, stop being like that Maria " Chris said sitting at the table.

" I know it's just .. " I said putting my hand on my forehead before I got emotional.

" I know you don't gotta explain, come here " he said pulling me up by my arms as he gave me a hug.

He rubbed my back until Royalty started making noises.

" Look at her , wanting a hug too " I said smiling and picking her up.
