Wishes

I was just waking up from a long ass night.
It was at least 12 because I woke up at 10 and checked the time and went back to sleep.

" Morning " I heard Chris say on the side of me

" Good afternoon " I laughed

" It's after noon? " he asked

" Yes " I smiled

I got up , sore as usual after we do what we do, and went to the bathroom and hopped in the shower while I was in there.

Once I got out , I came out with my towel on to see Chris not up here anymore.

He's probably downstairs.

I pulled my hair in a bun and put on my under garments, some Nike sweat pants and a T shirt.

I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs.

I heard a females voice as I was heading down the stairs. I immediately frowned.

I was about to curse out Chris and who ever the voice was but I wiped my frown away once I realized it was Asia.

" Hey " I smiled

" What you doing here ? " I asked

" I stopped by to check on you 'cause you didn't answer any of my calls or texts last night " she said

" Oh , I'm sorry. I was busy "

Once I said that, Chris immediately blushed.

" Awww , I know what y'all was doing. " she smiled back

" So things good now? " she followed up

" Yeah, I guess. " I shrugged as we made our way to the couches.

" Yeah, I don't mean to bring it back up but I'm sorry as well, Chris. " Asia spoke

" Why? "

" Because, she was with me and it was my idea to drink. "

" Naw , it's cool. My fault for pushing you too, you know how I can get .. but I'm on yo brother ass. I already don't like him " he spoke

" Come on, Chris. Don't start anything " I said

" I'm not. Just know I don't like his ass " he spoke

Asia shrugged , " Well, that's between you two. I just wanted to let you know I was sorry... and , to make sure my best friend was okay. Other than that, I'm about to go, I got a hair appointment " she said standing

" Okay, well i'll call you later. Love you " I said kissing her cheek and hugging her

" Where's my baby, Royalty? " she asked

" Oh, she's at her grandmas. I'm picking her up at 1 "  I spoke

" Okay, well love y'all and see you later " she said leaving out.

Chris waved bye and I closed the door.

" I don't even know why she was apologizing " Chris said in a matter of fact way.

" Why you say that? " I asked

" Because you a grown ass woman and you knew what you were doing regardless if you or someone else brung up the drinking. " he said

" Um.. why are we even still talking about this? I should be able to go over a friends house to have some drinks. " I said rolling my eyes and sitting on the couch.

" Because , you left Royalty behind like you didn't have a job, which is be a parent, to do. "

I squinted my eyes before speaking,
" Hold on, don't say it like I was neglecting her, I had her all that day and when we came home she went to sleep , you didn't have anything to do and if you did, I could careless because I always have her, you're always gone whether it's at the studio, w/ your guys, at a party, smoking and drinking,  I always have her. Don't try and make it seem like I'm an unfit parent when you're the one that's barely around. " I said on the verge of tears.
