Saving us from ourselves

Maddie's POV

PLEASE READ: Author's Note: So I haven't finished reading those other books yet but something happened in my life and I thought that writing would help me somehow. Someone really close to me died this morning and I've been having a hard time handling it. I cried for over two hours and am still on the verge of tears so I'm going to apologize if this chapter isn't that good. Hope you enjoy. Love you all.

Andi and I had made up. I was really sorry for almost punching her, but I couldn't take it with Mark and Kaeli in the hospital from a car crash. I didn't want them to die too. (Not going to continue on about death :( still cant really handle much.)

Dan and Phil were making us food. I hugged Andi and started to cry. she hugged me back and wiped my tears away, off of my cheeks. I am so happy to have a friend like her to help me through everything like this.

After Dan and Phil brought us our food and we ate, Andi got a call from Kaeli. She told her that they were coming home today and they wanted to know if I wanted to see them. I told Andi that I could handle it and so they decided to come and visit us at Dan and Phil's apartment.

An hour later, Mark and Kaeli showed up at the door and Phil let them in. We all sat around in the living room and talked for a while. We talked and laughed like we've all known each other for years even though we had just met Dan and Phil yesterday. Andi, Kaeli, and I had known Mark since grade school.

Eventually, night fell and Mark and Kaeli went to their homes. The boys offer for Andi and I to spend the night. Andi looks at me, wondering if I want to and I shrug, saying that it doesn't matter. "We're going to head home and get some of our own clothes first," Andi says looking at me. I realize I'm still wearing Phil's clothes from last night. My face reddens and I walk to the door with Andi back to our apartment.
We find some clothes and head back over to Dan and Phil's place. Andi and I offer to take the living room and we promise if we needed anything, we would get one of them. Then we fell asleep. At least, most of us did.

Authors Note: (again) I've been having a rough time dealing with all of this. This chapter took me a day so I started yesterday. I'm not feeling much better about it but it will get better eventually. Hope you enjoy the chapter. Sorry for it being so short. Love you all
