My door slowly opens. I roll over to see who is here. The first thing I see is Andi. She's running towards me. I give her a big hug. She's crying. I look over at who else is here. Maddie and Phil. Maddie's in tears. Phil is obviously holding back his tears. "I'm fine," I tell them. Andi looks at me and smiles, but continues to cry. I take her hand in mine. "Andi," I say, trying to calm her, "I am fine. Even better because you're here now."
I notice Phil holding on to Maddie, because she's sobbing. Phil is trying to comfort her just like I'm comforting Andi. Maddie breaks away from her embrace with Phil and started to say something to him, but I couldn't hear her. Phil replied and shook his head, frowning. Maddie broke down again.
Andi was calm now. She's standing by me, making sure I was doing ok and had everything I needed. I thought it was so sweet of her to be there for me like this.
It was already 10:00 at night, so Phil took Maddie back to our apartment and Andi decided to stay here with me, promising that if she needed anything she would either wake me up or call Phil.
