CAPTER 15: ZACK VS SHEKRA

We were in a large vortex of air, Steve was standing a few yards away from us with a few Kurt soldiers around him. Shock and nausea overcame me. "Steve, is that you?" Shekra yelled over to him in shock. Steve raised both his arms and laughed "yes, its me, and I feel great" he answered.

"Are.....are you with the Kurt?" She asked. "Guilty is charged" Steve said with a shrug. "Since when?" I asked. Steve just smiled at me menacingly "oh don't worry about me Zack, what you should be worried about is your girlfriend". Shekra rolled her eyes "you got a lot of nerve Steve" she yelled in anger.

"Oh Im not referring to you Shekra, Im talking about Amanda" Steve said as he pointed at Amanda. My stomach started to twist and turn, I had a feeling this isn't going to end well. Shekra looked a bit shocked but kept her eyes on Steve. "What are you talking about Steve? Zack is loyal to only me" she yelled.

Steve smiled "is that so? Than I guess your okay with the fact that they kissed each other behind your back". Oh no here we go, Shekra frowned "stop lieing Steve, I know my man" she said. Steve than pointed at me "if you dont believe me than ask him yourself". Shekra looked back at me with pleading eyes, my heart started pounding at my chest. "Zack..... Is this true?" she asked. I bit my lip, the smart thing to do was lie. But I couldn't do it...... Not to Shekra.

"Yes" I answered, Shekra gasped and tears started to fill her eyes. "But it didn't mean anything I swear" I tried to say but Shekra wasn't listening. "After 10 years of being together, this is what you do to me" she said thorough gritted teeth. "Shekra please calm down, it was an accident" I said. "Oh no it wasn't no accident" Steve interrupted. "Im pretty sure if I didn't show up they would've done a lot more than kiss" he continued.

Anger grasped a hold of me and I looked over at Steve. "Shut up Steve, your a menace" I screamed at him. "No Zack..... Your the menace" Shekra told me. "What!?, how am I the bad guy here you think I asked for all of this. Do you actually think I love you....... Your a complete stranger to me right now" I screamed. Shekra frowned and stepped up to me "stranger..... You see me as a stranger, if it wasn't for me youd be lost" she yelled.

My body was shaking with anger and frustration. I never asked for all this. To just wake up in this new life and follow these new rules, im sick of this. "You want to know how I feel about all of this?" I asked Shekra looking her in the eyes. "I think your crazy, like beyond crazy, its a miracle Im still alive. Id rather Amanda than you any day" I yelled.

Shekra gasped and everything went silent except for the sound of the wind from the air vortex we were in. "Umm can I say something?" Amanda said breaking the silence. Shekra looked at her with cold dead eyes. "Yooooou" she said, she than threw a punch at Amandas face. But I was faster, I leaped in front of Shekra blocking her heavy fist with the flat of my sword.

She backed away and I looked her in the eyes challenging her. "Don't do this" I threatened, Shekra smiled with that crazy glare in her eyes "try and stop me" she threatened back. She lunged at me and I did the same to her swinging my sword down at her. She introduced my blade with a right hook. The force of our two weapons colliding was so strong it sent Amanda and the Kurt soliders flying back. I withdrew away from Shekra and she threw her right fist at me. But I easily side stepped and dodged her attack.

I than brought my sword down onto her back cutting her and forcing her to face plant into the hard ground. Wasting no time afterwards I kicked her in the side and she flew about two yards away. "Give up Shekra, I don't wanna have to hurt you" I said. Shekra got up onto one knee as blood dripped from her back. "Its a little to late for that" she said, she punched the ground with so much force the floor started to move.

"Um I suggest you watch out Zack your in for a real treat" Steve said as he backed away. The planet started to vibrate violently. I have a bad feeling about this. Suddenly the ground under me shot up, luckily I was fast enough to narrowly leap out of the way as a large pillar of rock burst thourgh the ground. At the top of the pillar it appeared to be a ..... Hand? It was a rock arm jutting right out of the ground.

I stood there in amazement, but than the arm swung at me. It swatted me into the air like a flea. As I was going airborne there was a SWOOSH sound I heard beside me. I looked to see Shekra was by me with an evil expression on her face. How did she get to me so fast? Before I could react she punched me right in the cheek. I flew to the ground hitting it with so much force I formed a crater. I was in so much pain but unfortunately the beating wasn't over.

Shekra came down like a meator landing on my stomach. I felt some ribs break and I coughed up blood. "You think you can live without me?" Shekra whispered. "Than prove it" she brought her fist down onto my face. Pain shot thorough my nose and the back of my head drilled into the ground.

Than she punched me again, then again, over and over till I started slipping in and out of consciousness. When she finished her assault she got off of me. "Now its Amandas turn" she threatened as she walked away. Oh no, shes going to kill Amanda, and my sword was gone. I lost the fight.....I failed her. Suddenly a familiar sense came over me. My body started to steam and I started to feel powerful, very powerful. My injuries started to heal themselves, whats happening to me? I sat up from my creator. And turned to see Shekras back. She was making her way towards a frightened Amanda, she was to scared to even blink. "SHEKRAAAAAA!!!!!" I screamed. Shekra turned around in shock " what the" she said in confusion.

I leaped out of my creator and ran at her. Wait a minute, my feet weren't on the ground. I.....I was flying, like a freaking jet. I would've took this time to be amazed at this but Amandas life was at stake. I flew at Shekra like a bullet and before she could move I threw my fist at her, punching her in the stomach. Her body flew back and dragged against the floor. She didn't get back up. The power that was once inside me quickly evaporated and I fell on my back. I than slipped into darkness.
