The memory ray was a lot bigger than what Id expect it to be. It was like looking at a huge building. It was a huge metal ball with a sharp antenna pointing at this huge window displaying the earth in space. There were large computers all over the place and a large platform standing by the tall memory ray. Kurt soldiers were running all around pushing buttons and washing the machine. "We've got to get on top of that platform where the battery is and destroy it" Martin said. I tightened my grip on my sword, "cover me" I said before rushing off.
Some of the Kurt soldiers saw us and began to fire there weapons at me. But Shekra had created a force field around me. I was in a shell of protection while Martin confronted our enemy head on. I leaped up and flew thourgh the air towards the platform. This was too easy, its hard to believe the Kurt were a threat to us since they didn't seem all that strong. I landed on the platform but before I could blink a fist busted thourgh Shekras shield and into my face. A shock of pain hit me and I flew back off the platform and on the floor.
What the heck hit me, I felt weaker and my sword felt heavier. I got up to my feet and looked up to see what hit me. I was shocked to see who it was. It was that purple Kurt soldier from my dream, the one who stabbed me. He looked down at me than up at Shekra and Martin who were fighting their own battle. "STOP!" he commanded with force. The Kurt soldiers all stopped in their tracks and Shekra and Martin looked to see who yelled.
"My name is General Keys" he said. Than he looked at me "to all who are intruders, leave now and I'll spare your lives" he threatened. "No!, you leave and I'll spare your life" Shekra yelled. She than leaped thourgh the air at Keys. She threw a punch at his head, but he raised his hand and caught her fist. He than squeezed her hand crushing her gauntlet. Shekra screamed in pain and Keys flung her to the side. She hit the wall on the other side of the room with a BANG! And face planted onto the floor.
She tried to get back up but she fell back on her face. Martin yelled in anger and lashed out. Leaping at Keys the same way Shekra did. He dropped the hammer part of his axe hammer down onto him. But Keys just raised his arm up and blocked it...... With his finger. He than flicked Martin away like a fly and he flew back and hit the wall with enough force to knock him out. "Humans never seem to learn from their mistakes, the earth would be in much better care with me in control" Keys said.
He than looked down at me and fear enclosed around me, and my heart started to race. "Do you surrender?" he asked. I tightened my grip on my sword. This guy took Shekra and Martin on by himself. And beat both of them with ease, what chance do I have. But I couldn't back down from this fight, to many lives are at stake. I looked up at him and yelled "Id rather die than surrender". "Very well" Keys answered, he than raised his hand as if to give a signal. Suddenly one of the Kurt soldiers ran up to him with a long case in his hand.
When he approached Keys he opened the case reveling a long purple sword. The same one from my dream, the one that stabbed me. Keys took the sword and leaped off the platform in front of me. I stood my ground waiting for his attack. Suddenly a sharp pain blew up across my face, and my energy was sapped out of me. I stumbled back wiping my hand on my cheek, I was bleeding? I looked in front of me to see Keys was gone. Where'd he go? He was just in front me.
I turned around and saw the he was right behind me. Dang hes fast. He swung his sword at me and I blocked it with mine. But my sword got even heavier and I started sweating. "You probably don't know who I am" Keys said. Than in a blink of an eye he rushed at me punching me in the stomach sending me flying back to the ground. "My armor is made of tinnus metal, I was discovered on what your kind calls planet mercury" he continued. I rushed back onto my feet and ran at him, I swung my sword at him but he grabbed it by the blade and forced it out my hands.
"What this special metal does is drain the energy from an organism, and can even be harnessed by another organism, its really hard to find" Keys said as he threw my weapon behind him. I threw a punch at him but he moved to the side and doged it. I threw another hit, than another but he kept moving out the way. "You can't win, your starting to move slower by the second, you've met your match" he said, than he grabbed my face and lifted in the air. I struggled to break free but his grip was to strong. He started to squeeze harder and I could feel my skull breaking. The pain was unbearable but I was to weak to fight back.... To weak to scream. My jaw broke out of place and my head started to cave in. I stopped moving entirely, I couldn't fight back. Keys dropped me on the floor like a sack of potatoes. I closed my eyes and fell into darkness.
