After about a week I was standing on stage with Shekra and Martin standing on both sides of me. There was a large crowd of people sitting in front of us cheering. "Everyone please settle down" Conners announced in his mic. After everyone started to quiet down Conners countiued. "It is my duty and honor to present these awards to these three heros" he announced and the crowd went wild again. After waiting for them to calm down again Conners countiued. "Without these three, the Kurt would've been here right now, wiping us out, no offense to Keys tho" he said pointing out to a sharply dressed Keys who was sitting in the front row cheering. "But without any further ado, I present these medals to our heros.
The crowd. Started to cheer as Conners approached us with three medals in a tiny wooden box. He walked up to me, "oh don't look so happy Zack, this is your 25th time saving the earth "he whispered as he pinned the medal on my shirt. "Really?" I asked "yes now smile for the camera".
Later on after the ceremony, me Martin and Shekra were heading to the after party while drinking some green liquor. "Hold on guys I gotta use the restroom." I said as I walked off. As I made my way to the door I heard a voice behind me. "Congratulations Zack" it said, I looked behind me to see a tall well dressed man standing behind me. He had spiky brown hair and one eye was green while the other was blue, the blue eye had a long blue scar running down his face.
"Uhh thanks" I said, he smiled "get ready Zack" he said. I backed away from him a little, "ready for what?" I asked. The man stepped closer to me "the author of this book...... Hes making a dimensional war" he told me. I stood there confused for a second "what do you mean-" I was interrupted by the fact that the strange man suddenly disappeared in thin air, like magic. I stood there baffled, maybe I had a little too much green liquor. I shrugged it off and went into the bathroom.
