The pine trees are tall, the day is crisp and warm, and the grass had never been higher. That sounds Las Vegas, but the grass is fake over there.
Sophie dragged her suitcase across the grass and dirt and finally set it down in front of her cabin.
"Cabin Laundry, why would anyone name a cabin like that?" Sophie questioned and she threw opened the door.
Inside, there were clothes EVERYWHERE! It smelt like a raccoon died in there and was cut opened.
"Welcome to Cabin Lotus!" A girl walked in, saying, as Sophie made a disgust face, "It was sprayed painted "Laundry" after the boys ransacked the cabin last year."
Sophie nodded and set her stuff on the top bunk.
"That's my bed," A petite little girl walked in saying.
"Sorry, I thought this wasn't taken, because of the messy clothes on it," Sophie apologized.
"Studies shows that an un-made bed keeps bed bugs away," The girl said as she threw Sophie's stuff across the room.
Sophie gasped and responded, "You wanna go, sister?!"
"I wouldn't if I were you," The girl said.
"It's fine, I can handle a petite little girl," Sophie said as she pulled up her sleeves.
The little girl jumped on Sophie's back and well....we're leaving...
On the other side of camp...
Sawyer carried his bag to his cabin, Cabin Sharks. He opened the door and stepped inside. It was dark and Sawyer couldn't find the light switch. However, he heard noises.
"Who's there?" Sawyer asked as he squinted.
"Some may know me as...the Magnificent Boy!" The figure said as he held out his arms.
Just then, Sawyer heard a huge crash, bang, and boom! Sawyer flicked on the light switch and there was a boy on the floor rubbing his sore head.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Sawyer asked.
"Your counselor," The boy said, struggling to stand up.
"Well, I'm Sawyer," Sawyer introduced himself.
"And I'm Clyde," Clyde said, also introducing himself, "The only available bed is this one," Clyde said, struggling to climb the bunk bed using the sides.
"You know there's a ladder, right?" Sawyer said, pointing to the ladder on the other side.
"Right...I knew that," Clyde replied as he made his way towards the ladder.
"Are you sure you're the counselor? You don't seem cut out for that job," Sawyer questioned.
"Nope, but I like bossing people around like my mother who owns most of the camps around here," Clyde explained.
Sawyer shrugged and began unpacking.
