A New Partnership

"Well, are you going to shake my hand or do I have to look like a idiot longer?" Vivian asked the frozen Sophie.
"Sorry," Sophie replied as she shook Vivian's hand.
"Anyways, we all should be heading to lunch now!" Caitlyn announced and the campers piled into the mess hall.
"Nice to meet you, Delarosa," Vivian said and then she took off to the mess hall.
"Huh, having a sister must be so weird," Sophie said to herself and hurried after the other campers.
"I'm so glad you guys are fitting in nicely here!" Brown said.
"Now we have an announcement! We will gather for dinner at 7:00 and then for our nightly campfire at 9:00. Right now, you'll have free time, explore the camp a little," Shane announced.
"The lake is open, some activities are open such as archery and arts and crafts," Mitchie added.
"And we all encourage you guys to not stay cooped up in your cabins!" Nate finished.
The campers all piled out of the mess hall and so did Sophie.
"Hey," Sophie greeted Sawyer at the arts and crafts table.
"Hey, Sophie, care to make something?" Sawyer asked.
"Ugh, fine. Like I have anything better to do. I'll just make something for Bella and Pepper," Sophie said.
"That's the spirit, I'm making something for my prized cow," Sawyer told Sophie as he held up a picture of a cow.
"That's cool," Sophie lied.
"Did you hear that the meat from the kitchen isn't actually meat?" Sawyer whispered to Sophie.
"Why would do such a thing?" Sophie gasped.
One of the chef walked past Sophie and Sawyer while picking his nose. Once the chef saw his booger, he put it in a plastic bag.
"Remind me not to eat tomorrow's food," Sophie remarked and both of them shuddered.
Meanwhile.....
"Clyde, I heard a lot about you," Vivian said as she walked into Clyde's cabin.
"Who are you?" Clyde asked.
"Vivian, but you can call me Vivi," Vivian introduced herself.
"Ok, Vivi, what are you doing?" Clyde asked.
"I heard you're not playing by rules as a counselor," Vivian informed Clyde.
"And?" Clyde questioned.
"I want us to form a partnership," Vivian suggested.
Clyde chuckled and said, "For what?"
"What an interesting picture you have here," Vivian said suspiciously as she picked up Sophie's photo.
Clyde went over and snatched the photo, "And?"
"Well, you like Sophie and I like that guy," Vivian stated.
"Ok, partnership it is," Clyde said and the both of them shook hands.
Back to Sophie and Sawyer...
"Ok, I'm done," Sophie said as she held up her project for Sawyer to see.
"Oooh, but it's yours so if you like it..." Sawyer commented.
"Whatever, I'm gonna go," Sophie replied and she stood up.
Sawyer shrugged and he continued making his present for his cow.
Sophie had really left so she could tell Brown about Clyde. She walked to the Counselors' Lounge. Sophie knocked on the door and Caitlyn let her in.
"What's up, girl?" Jason asked.
"Yeah, Sophie, what's up?" Caitlyn asked.
"Shouldn't you be outside hanging out with your friends?" Mitchie asked.
"Well, Sawyer, my friend who is in Camp Sharks informed me that Clyde is being unruly and doesn't care about chores," Sophie blurted out.
"And?" Shane asked.
"You're not going to kick him from his title?" Sophie asked.
"Well, no, he's a newbie at a counselor so we have to go easy on him," Nate explained.
"Wow, that's unfair," Sophie said as she crossed her arms.
"Well, we have to give him a chance," Brown added.
"Ok fine, bye then," Sophie said as she left.
