Lunch passed by really fast and Sophie was back in Cabin Lotus.
"We have 6 more hours until dinner, what do you guys want to do?" Caitlyn asked.
"I vote---" Sophie started to say.
"If you say sleep, I'm going to lose it," Natalie interrupted.
"Fine, let's do something with Cabin Stars," Sophie suggested.
"We always do stuff with them," Natalie complained.
"Natalie is right, Sophie. Let's just go on our own," Caitlyn remarked.
"The times we went on our own was when we had a painful trip canoeing and got lost hiking," Sally said.
"True, let's see what Cabin Cheetahs is up to," Caitlyn decided.
The five girls walked around camp and finally reached Cabin Cheetahs. They knocked and Nate opened the door.
"Hey, Caitlyn. What's up?" Nate asked.
"What are you guys doing? We're hoping to join," Caitlyn replied.
"Yeah, I hope it's extreme tackling!" Annabelle exclaimed.
Nate looked at her weirdly and responded, "We were just about to head out to play volleyball. It's cool if you join, more the merrier."
The two cabins made their way to where the volleyball net was.
"Girls against boys?" Annabelle asked.
"Nope, let's heat up the competition a little bit, I can take it," Adam, a camper from Cabin Cheetahs, said.
"Ok, there will be two teams. My team and your team," Caitlyn said pointing to Nate.
"I want Annabelle," Nate stated.
"I'll take Adam," Caitlyn replied.
"Max," Nate picked.
"Natalie," Caitlyn responded.
"Sally," Nate chose.
"Evan," Caitlyn remarked.
"Sean," Nate said.
"And I'll take Sophie," Caitlyn said.
"Yay! We're on the same team!" Sally exclaimed as she hugged Annabelle.
"Yep, and we're going to take them down," Nate said as he pointed to the rival team.
"Natalie is on that team," Annabelle pointed out.
"We can beat a little girl," Nate motivated them.
Adam, Natalie, Evan, Sophie, and Caitlyn stood on one side of the net while Annabelle, Max, Sally, Sean and Nate stood on the other side.
"Natalie will serve," Nate said, handing the ball to Natalie.
"Oh, he's going to go down so fast," Sally said and Annabelle nodded.
Natalie threw the ball way up in the air and hit it onto the other side. The ball headed fast towards the grass and Nate failed to hit it.
"1:0!" Caitlyn shouted.
"You serve, Sean," Nate said as he handed to ball to Sean.
Sean threw the ball up and hit it. Sophie hit it back. Annabelle smacked the ball but then Caitlyn hit it back. Sally barely hit it back and Adam hit it back. Nate hit it back but then Evan hit it back. Matthew hit it back but Natalie hit the ball back and Nate failed to hit it again.
"2:0!" Caitlyn shouted.
This went on for an hour and the scores was 32:24. Of course, the 32 points were Caitlyn's team.
"Break!" Nate exclaimed.
The teams sat down and began drinking water and wiping sweat.
"Come on, team, let's win this!" Caitlyn motivated them.
"We're already winning," Adam pointed out.
"By winning, she meant beating the other team by 20 points," Sophie explained.
"Haha, you're cute," Evan replied.
"Enough fooling around, I'm ready to crush our opponents," Natalie said.
"Let's go," Caitlyn said, beckoning her teammates near the net.
Another hour passed and Caitlyn's team won 56:41.
"We win by 15 points!" Caitlyn exclaimed.
"Good game, C," Nate said as they shook hands.
The girls went back to Cabin Lotus.
"What are we going to do for the next 4 hours?" Sally asked.
"Let's go do some archery! It improves your balance, focus, and your strength," Natalie recommended.
"Ok, fine by me," Sophie said as she shrugged.
"Winner gets to take a break on their next chore week!" Caitlyn announced.
"I better win!" Annabelle exclaimed.
Meanwhile...
"So I created something to help us with our partnership," Clyde said, pulling out a bulletin board.
"Awesome!" Vivian remarked as she inspected it.
It had pictures of Sophie, Troy, Bella, and Clyde. Suddenly, the doorknob turned.
"Quick! Hide the bulletin board!" Vivian ordered.
Clyde wheeled the bulletin board into the bathroom and closed the door just in time as Sawyer walked in.
"Hey guys, hey Vivian. I'm just here to use the bathroom," Sawyer said as he made his way towards the bathroom.
"No, no, no!" Clyde and Vivian both said but it was too late.
"What is this?" Sawyer asked as he pulled out the bulletin board.
"Uhh, it's my science project...in two months, I gotta be prepared," Vivian lied.
"Clyde's and Vivi's Partnership," Sawyer read, "What's the partnership for?"
"Ugh, fine, I like Sophie and wants to take down you and Viv---" Clyde started to say but Vivian elbowed him. "And Vivian is helping me."
"You think Sophie likes me?" Sawyer asked.
Clyde nodded.
Sawyer laughed and said, "She doesn't, I promise. If you want to take down someone, it should be Diego."
"Ok, does this mean you won't tell anyone?" Vivian asked.
"I won't," Sawyer promised.
"Good, you're helping us," Vivian said.
"What can I do?" Sawyer asked.
"Keep Diego away from Sophie, duh,"
Vivian explained.
"Ok," Sawyer said.
