The bell rang for dinner and everyone piled in the mess hall. Sophie walked fast to catch up but she bumped into a boy.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," Sophie apologized.
"It is me who should be sorry, I didn't look at where I was going," The boy responded.
Sophie looked up and met the boy's eyes.
"I'm Sophie, I haven't seen you around here," Sophie introduced herself.
"I'm from Cabin Stars, and I like to stay in the shadow," The boy responded.
Sophie and the boy continued gathering the papers on the ground.
"Sheet music? You play?" Sophie asked.
"Yeah, guitar," The boy responded.
"We should get to the mess hall," Sophie reminded the boy.
"You're right, I'll catch up," The boy replied then Sophie slowly walked away.
Sophie entered the mess hall to see Sawyer sitting at their normal spot.
"Hey, Sophie! I think I found Angel's hair," Sawyer said as he waved to Sophie.
"Cool, we are having pasta?" Sophie asked as she sat down.
"Nope, I meant actual hair from Angel, the cook," Sawyer said as he showed Sophie his fork which picked up some hair.
"Eww," Sophie remarked as she gagged.
Sawyer set the fork on his napkin.
"What took you so long?" Sawyer asked.
"I bumped into this guy on the way here," Sophie explained.
"Oh cool, who was it?" Sawyer asked.
"I don't know, I actually bumped into that guy," Sophie said.
"He had black hair, a guitar on his back, an accent, and impeccable fashion sense," Sophie recalled.
"Like him?" Sawyer asked as he pointed behind Sophie.
Sophie turned to face the same boy from before.
"Oh my gosh, he is so hot!" One of the girls exclaimed.
"Marry me!" Another girl exclaimed.
"I LOVE YOU!" One girl screamed.
There seemed to be classical music playing in Sophie's mind as the boy walked through mess hall. However, it ended with a needle scratch when two familiar people approached the boy.
"Come on, our table is over there," Vivian said, grabbing the boy's hand.
"So, this is our newest member, huh?" Clyde asked Vivian as he inspected the boy.
"Yep, his name is Diego," Vivian introduced and all three of them walked across the mess hall.
"What was that?" Sawyer remarked.
"I was wondering the same time," Sophie replied, not taking her eyes off of Diego.
The bell rang and everyone headed out for their final activities.
"Ok, girls, our last activity is simple. Since it's nearing sunset, we'll give you a tour of our camp, like a night hike," Caitlyn announced.
Sally and Annabelle cheered while Natalie made a disgust face.
"I learned it's not safe to hike outside at night, you could get lost," Natalie criticized.
"We have flashlights," Sophie replied, pointing one at Natalie.
Natalie's hands tried to cover the light. "It's still not safe because flashlights runs on battery power, and the battery could be drained," Natalie pointed out.
"It'll be fine," Caitlyn assured Natalie.
Caitlyn led the group into the forest.
"This is the path we take to the waterfall, it's a beautiful sight," Caitlyn informed.
"What path?" Sophie asked as she looked down at her feet.
"It's been covered by wind," Caitlyn answered.
"Or it could have been covered by ghosts," Sally spooked the girls.
"Haha, very funny," Sophie said sarcastically.
"Next, is the trail up a mountain, which is where you could see all of our camp on top," Caitlyn pointed.
"Cool," Annabelle gawked as she stared at the very tall mountain.
Suddenly, it grew darker.
"What happened?" Natalie asked.
"My flashlight is dead," Caitlyn replied.
"Does anybody have another bright flashlight on them?" Annabelle asked.
"Nope," Natalie, Sophie, and Sally responded.
"I didn't bring a bright one because I didn't think Caitlyn's flashlight would die," Sally explained.
"Ugh," Sophie said.
"Are you guys ready to admit it?" Natalie asked, poking at Caitlyn and Sophie.
"Yes," Caitlyn replied.
"We're lost," Caitlyn and Sophie both said.
