This book features Mitchie, Shane, Nate, Jason, Caitlyn, and Brown from Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2. If you don't know about Camp Rock or Camp Rock 2, I will tell you about it.
Camp Rock
It is about Mitchie Torres going to a camp for music. She is a singer and she likes to keep her talent hidden. Shane Gray is the heartthrob celebrity that everyone adores! His band mates, Nate and Jason told him that he is going to be a counselor at Camp Rock. He is also going to do a duet with the winner of the Final Jam. Shane wants to back out but he can't so he went to find Brown (his uncle). Mitchie meets Caitlyn her first day where she hears about Tess, the mean girl. Mitchie makes up a lie about her mom so she helps out in the kitchen secretly. She was playing on the camp's piano while Shane was being chased by fans. He manages to get away and hides right next to the building where the piano was. Mitchie started singing 'This is Me' as she was playing the piano. She exited the building before Shane could discover who sung it. Mitchie ditches Caitlyn and moves in with Tess and her friends. Awhile later, Mitchie almost got caught by Shane in the kitchen. Then, she befriends Shane and he sings a song to her. A while after that, Caitlyn saw Mitchie with her mom and she decided to befriend Mitchie again. Then, Tess spotted Mitchie's mom hugging Mitchie and telling her to have a good day. Tess then reveals Mitchie's mom's true identity. Shane didn't want to be friends with Mitchie anymore. A while after that, the Final Jam is coming up and the students were preparing for it. Caitlyn and Mitchie was doing together and then it was finally the Final Jam. The Final Jam is a contest to see who's music is better. Connect 3 (Shane's , Nate's, and Jason's band) is the judges. Tess accused Mitchie and Caitlyn of stealing her special bracelet (it's a charm bracelet, whenever her celebrity mom, TJ Tyler wins a Gramny, she adds a charm to her bracelet) and Brown saw her bracelet in the kitchen when Mitchie and Caitlyn were working. (Yes, Tess framed them.) Brown told them that they are not included in the rest of the activities until the end of Final Jam as their punishment. Finally, The Final Jam was here so Mitchie and Caitlyn sat out. However, Mitchie realized that Brown was giving them a signal. So they performed when Brown said the end of Final Jam. Mitchie sang "This is Me" and Shane sings with her. Peggy, Tess's friend won Final Jam. At the end, all of the campers performed "We Rock" to their parents.
