Sophie went back to her cabin and she threw open the door.
"Hey Sophie, you ready for our first activity?" Caitlyn asked.
"Sure, unless it involves something other than sleeping," Sophie said.
"You know, your obsession with sleeping will haunt you in the future," Natalia informed.
"That's not today so I don't really care," Sophie said.
"Do you have another obsession that I have to worry about?" Caitlyn asked Sophie.
"I always have the urge to tackle someone," Sophie replied.
"Me too!" Annabelle said.
Then, she tackled Sally who was just walking out of the bathroom.
"Ok, well, our first activity is canoeing," Caitlyn told the campers.
"Fine by me, I'll sleep on it," Sophie shrugged.
All the campers headed out to the lake. They stared in shock when they saw the mini-sized canoe.
"There's no way you can sleep on that," Natalie said as she nudged Sophie.
"How do you know?" Sophie asked. She climbed in the canoe and began to lay down.
Suddenly, the canoe tipped over and Sophie fell in the water.
"A little help here?" Sophie asked and she held out her hand.
The campers all took a step back.
"Fine," Sophie said as she struggled to get up.
Minutes later, Sophie got herself dried up and rejoined the group.
"Stop poking my side with your foot!" Annabelle exclaimed to Sally.
"Move yourself then," Sally said.
"Girls, stop complaining! Now who's going to row the canoe with me?" Caitlyn asked as she held up a paddle.
All the girls struggled to stay away from Caitlyn.
"Ugh," Caitlyn said as she started to row the canoe.
After an hour of torture, the girls headed back to Cabin Lotus.
"Remind me not to ever take you guys canoeing again," Caitlyn remarked as she rubbed her sore shoulder.
"Ok," The girls all said unanimously.
"What are we going to do for the next hour?" Sophie asked.
"I heard Cabin Stars is using the climbing pole," Annabelle informed.
"What's the climbing pole?" Sally asked.
"It's like rock climbing but it's on a really tall pole," Natalie told them.
"Fine by me, let's go," Caitlyn said as she led the way.
The girls arrived at the climbing pole. That pole was like 36 ft tall!
"Woah," Sally remarked.
"Breath-taking," Natalie added.
"Ehh," Sophie said.
Everyone stared at Sophie like she was crazy.
"Come on, let's climb this thing!" Caitlyn exclaimed.
"Caitlyn," Shane said.
"Shane," Caitlyn responded.
"Do you want to demonstrate how to climb it?" Shane asked.
"I don't want to do it," Caitlyn replied.
"Me neither," Shane added.
"Let's rock, paper, scissors for it," Caitlyn suggested.
"Rock, paper, scissors!" They both exclaimed. Caitlyn had a paper and Shane had a rock.
"Yes! Go wear the belt of shame, Shane!" Caitlyn exclaimed.
"Ugh," Shane said as he slid the over him.
"Hey Soph," Diego greeted Sophie.
"Hey Diego," Sophie responded.
"Are you going to climb the pole?" Diego asked.
"Do I have a choice?" Sophie replied.
"True," Diego said as he chuckled.
"Uh Caitlyn? Are you sure you're doing this right?" Shane asked from high above.
"Yes, I just need to pull this rope," Caitlyn said as she held up her hand but she discovered that the rope was gone, "Uh, where's the rope?"
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!" Shane screamed.
"Relax, all you need to do is pull this rope and he will come right down," Diego said as he held up a rope.
"Pretty smart for a charmer," Sophie joked.
"Well, I learned a lot by inspecting the Eiffel Tower I wake up next to every day," Diego said.
"Who wants to go next?" Caitlyn asked.
"Sophie!" Natalie exclaimed.
Sophie grabbed the belt and glared at Natalie.
An hour later.....
The bell rung for lunch. Everyone piled into the mess hall.
"Hey, what did you get?" Diego asked as he sat across from Sophie.
"Nothing," Sophie replied.
"Same!" Diego exclaimed.
"Hey, can I sit here?" A girl walked up saying.
"Seat's taken," Sophie said as she shooed the girl away.
"So what happe---" Sophie started to say but got interrupted.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" A boy asked.
"Listen here, the seat is taken!" Sophie exclaimed in the boy's face.
"Wow...so today---" Diego started to say but also got interrupted.
"Hey Sophie, can I sit with you?" Sawyer asked.
"No Sawyer, there is a table over there!" Sophie said, nodding her head in the other direction. Then she pushed him away.
"Wow, you're pretty uptight about saving a seat for Vivian," Diego said.
"Saving a what for who now?" Sophie asked.
"Hey, Diego!" Vivian exclaimed as she hugged Diego. Then she turned to face Sophie, "Sophie."
"Vivian," Sophie mocked.
"So what---" Diego started to say but Sophie blew a raspberry and blocked out the rest of the conversation.
