"So...Caitlyn isn't back. What should we do?" Natalie asked.
"I don't know. Sophie, you're the oldest in here, what do you think?" Sally asked.
"Sleep?" Sophie suggested.
Natalie jumped on Sophie's back and started attacking her.
"I got an idea! We could go to the arts and crafts and make presents for each other like we always wanted!" Annabelle exclaimed to Sally.
"Great!" Sally exclaimed and the two girls exited the cabin.
"Well, those two are gone," Sophje said as Natalie climbed off Sophie's back.
"Ok, you stay here while I go hang out with my guy friend," Natalie informed as she grabbed her book.
"Oooh, who is it?" Sophie teased.
"None of your business," Natalie said as she walked out.
Well, I got nothing to do, Sophie thought.
She searched through her bag for ideas.
I got it! This could be a perfect time to have some alone time with Diego, Sophie thought.
She exited Cabin Lotus and walked straight to Cabin Stars. Sophie knocked on the door and Shane opened the door.
"Hey...Sophia?" Shane questioned.
"Close, it's Sophie. Is Diego here?" Sophie asked.
"No, he's at the lake," Shane replied.
"Thanks," Sophie said and she walked away.
When she arrived at the lake, she heard some noises. Sophie saw Vivian and Diego on a canoe together.
Vivian giggled and said, "Stop it!"
"What? This?" Diego asked as he continued to splash water on Vivian.
"Hey!" Vivian exclaimed.
Diego laughed and replied, "I haven't seen that smile ever since we got here."
"That's because I might have a teeny crush," Vivian explained.
"Oooh! Tell me," Diego said.
"Stop it," Vivian replied as she pushed Diego off the canoe.
"Hey!" Diego exclaimed as he flipped the canoe over and Vivian fell in the water.
Both of them continued to splash water at each other. Meanwhile, Sophie stormed away. She rushed to Cabin Lotus and threw the door opened.
"Hey, Sophie! Where have you been?" Sally asked cheerfully.
"Nowhere, I'm surprised you're back," Sophie replied.
"Yeah, we got kicked out. Apparently, you aren't supposed to have a glitter fight," Annabelle explained.
Suddenly, Natalie walked in all absent-minded. She sighed dramatically as she sat down on her bed.
"What happened to you?" Annabelle asked.
"Just had the best play date ever," Natalie explained.
"Yeah, I'm not so sure that it was a play date," Sophie remarked.
"Oooh, looks like someone got a crush," Sally teased.
Natalie snapped back to reality and replied, "There's no crush at all."
Annabelle responded, "Sure," sarcastically.
"Ok, guys. I'm done here. We need Caitlyn back. She must have left a note somewhere," Sophie said, walking into Caitlyn's room.
The girls followed her and began searching. Sally opened the covers and started to tremble.
"What's wrong, Sally?" Annabelle asked.
"There's a mask...and....in...the...story," Sally replied.
"In the story of the Hobbler, the three clues are someone goes missing, a mask is found in their bed, and their favorite stuff is found in the forest. And the second clue became true!" Natalie explained.
Sally and Natalie began shrieking.
"Oh come on, it must be the counselors again," Annabelle assured them.
Sophie rolled her eyes and handed the girls a flashlight. "Come on, we will hike in the forest and prove to you guys that the Hobbler didn't take Caitlyn," Sophie planned.
"Fine, but if there is her favorite stuff, I'm going to say I told you so," Sally said as she headed out.
"I can't believe we're going on another hike," Natalie complained as the girls started entering the forest.
"Oh come on, this is for a great cause," Annabelle remarked.
"Great cause?! More like death cause!" Sally exclaimed.
The leaves rustled.
"Did you hear that?" Natalie asked.
A branch snapped.
"I definitely heard that!" Sally exclaimed.
Natalie and Sally began screaming.
"Wimps. Let's go," Sophie said as she dragged Natalie while Annabelle dragged Sally.
After walking for so long, they stopped to sit down on rocks.
"Maybe we should go back," Sally suggested.
"You're just saying that because you might be wrong," Annabelle remarked.
"I am not!" Sally protested.
"Ok, Sophie. You proved your point! The Hobbler isn't real but that doesn't explain the "click clack" noise," Natalie said.
"Come on, just a little further to prove that the Hobbler isn't real," Sophie replied.
They kept walking until Annabelle tripped over a pile of straw.
"Annabelle! Are you okay?" Sally asked.
"Yeah, but it looks like there's something hidden in the straw," Annabelle pointed.
Sophie bent over and picked up a book, a pair of shoes, and a bracelet.
"Look! It's Caitlyn's book, her favorite pair of shoes, and her favorite bracelet!" Natalie exclaimed.
"How did you know that?" Sophie asked Natalie.
"She tells us this stuff all the time," Natalie explained.
"That means..." Annabelle started to say.
"That the Hobbler took Caitlyn!" Sally finished.
Natalie, Sally, and Annabelle began screaming.
"Guys..." Sophie started to say.
Suddenly, the leaves rustled.
"RUN!!!" Natalie screamed.
All four girls kept running and running until they reached the camp. They were out of breath and sat down on logs.
"I thought you weren't scared, Sophie," Natalie remarked.
"I'm still not, but I don't want to be mobbed by Bigfoot," Sophie replied.
"Sure," Annabelle said.
"Ok, let's go back to Cabin Lotus. Maybe Caitlyn will be back," Sophie said.
The girls entered Cabin Lotus and stood outside Caitlyn's door.
"Who wants to go in?" Natalie asked.
"Sally," Annabelle announced as she shoved Sally in the doorway.
Sally began screaming.
"What's wr----" Annabelle started to say but she started screaming, too, "Caitlyn got separated into two human beings!"
Natalie and Sophie dashed in.
