Chapter 15- Dungeon hunter

I crossed my arms as I watched Zylen lean against the wall with his hand rested on the wall on the side of her head. I stared not bothering to blink once as I listened to the conversation.

"You think you can show me around?" He flirted while moving her hair to the side.

She giggled. "Isn't that your girlfriend?"

I looked away as they turned to look at me.

"No, She's like my sister. You're the only one I want" He winked and I rolled my eyes at his lame flirting.

She giggled and what I didn't expect to happen, happened. He kissed her. Like full blown make out and while I'm right here at that. I don't know why but that ticked me off.

I stood up and ran over to her breaking her and Zylen up. He looked at me confused and I faced the girl.

"What are you-" I interrupted her as I put my hand through her chest gripping her heart. She gasped for air and Zylen kept calling my name.

"Skyler let her go"

I ignored him and looked into her eyes as they slowly started to roll back.

"You're gonna kill someone, Is that what you wanna do? Kill someone?"

"It'll take a lot more reasoning than that, Because of you I'm like this, because of you I have to drink blood and because of you my brother is gone" I said as I squeezed her heart and her eyes widened.

"You're right, This is my fault just kill me"

I sighed and I heard him sigh in relief.

"No" I replied before squeezing making her heart stop beating and she hit the floor. By the time she fell the music stopped and Zylen touched my necklace making us unnoticeable.

I looked around listening to people's thoughts about what happened and is she okay. I closed my eyes the louder the thoughts became.

Is she dead?

Oh my god

She's dead

What the fuck?

"Calm down" Zylen said while touching my shoulder and I pushed him accidentally making him hit the wall.

"What's happening to me?" I yelled and he looked at me as fear took over his face. I furrowed my eyebrows and ran to the mirror. Shocked I could see myself but more shocked that my eyes were pitch black and black veins were coming down my cheeks through my skin. My breathing hitched and Zylen looked scared and worried at the same time.

"What's happening to me!?"

Micah

I woke up feeling the cold ground underneath me as I slowly got up not understanding my surroundings. Pitch black with chains hanging from the wall I could only see the door from across the room. I tried walking towards it only for me to hit the bars I was behind.

"Don't even try" I heard and looked to the right seeing Victor chained up.

"Where are we?"

"The dungeon, Congratulations you played yourself"

"I didn't. I tried to help you and I land here"

"Help me? Yeah you helped me alright" He scoffed and I turned to face him.

"You know I may be your brother now but I'll still break your spine"

"Don't call me that, You kissed Skyler and probably much more I don't know about. That's disgusting"

"You don't think I know that?" I asked annoyed. I thought about that and I almost threw up.

"I don't even get how we're related. I've met your parents and they don't exactly look like me"

"Maybe because I was adopted. You were too apparently"

"Adopted? You expect me to believe I was adopted? Impossible I'm a Murphy. Why would I be abandoned by a family with the last name Murphy to be adopted by a family with the same last name?"

"Have you ever thought that's not their real last name?" I asked and he flicked me off probably thinking I couldn't see him.

"You're so lucky I can't see you buddy, hurting my sister isn't smart for you"

"Of course it's not, There's much you Don't know anything about"

"Like what? I'm one of you?" I stayed quiet and his widened as he started to panic.

"I'm gonna be a vamp-wolf? Oh my God I won't ever be able to see the real world again. I'll be stuck here with you people who torture others and each other for their own enjoyment! Great"

"It hasn't kicked in yet. I doubt they even understand your case. As long as they don't do any research on our family we're good"

"It's not our family" He raised his voice. "It's my family bub get that right"

The door opened and Ali came in smiling while walking towards us. "I'm so happy you two are awake, But Micah, I thought you were different"

I gave him a disgusted look. "And I thought you were the good people, You want revenge. That's not good"

"You killed your sister and chocked out your girlfriend, Oops sister" He laughed. "So please don't play the do the right thing card"

I looked down knowing he was right as he looked at Victor then back at me.

"The brothers are together, I'm shocked no escape has been attempted"

"Can't" Victor said while showing the chains around his wrists. "Sort of stuck to the wall"

"Well I can always help, As long as you don't run out on us"

"Helping you is a death wish"

He laughed, Like hysterical as he called Nate in who walked in holding a button.

"You see, I found out so many things I didn't know. Like for instance Victor here can become a hybrid with the click of this button. Not to mention I can make you pretty much do whatever the hell I say" He said and laughed once again.

"Nate you can't do this. I thought this was about fairness"

He gazed his thumb over the button. "This is fair. I told you how much I needed Ali to even become me. If you doubt Ali you doubt me. I trained for this all my life and you people won't ruin this"

"No" I said just as he clicked the button and I could feel a stinging sensation in my neck as I dropped down hearing Victor scream and struggle to free himself from the changed. Ali smirked as he watched me the whole time.

My eyes closed and I passed out.
