Toby POV

"I'm not going to ask you again," I growled as she continued to ignore me as if her nails were more fascinating. "What are you doing here?" she finally looked up and frowned. "I'm sorry what was that?" she asked me. My glare hardened as she said this. "I'm not playing any of your games so just answer the question." I demanded. Pulling her shades down she took a few steps into the room stopping at a distance I held no problem with. With Jenna I always preferred arms length away.

"Dad is leaving today, there is nothing wrong with me saying good bye to him before he goes," she explained with no hesitation to prove that she was telling the truth. Caleb and I shared a look obviously knowing nothing about this. "After Marian comes back they leave and lets just say that things around here might get a little. . . interesting."

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" Caleb asked her. She shrugged her shoulders,"Knowing dad there wasn't a lot you could do around here." just like that her tracks were covered nicely, right when I thought we were getting somewhere. "You know where his room is," Caleb murmured, sitting back down on the couch.

I watched Jenna exit the room before sitting down on the couch as well, pulling my phone out of my pocket to dial a number. "Noel?" I asked once he answered. He grunted in response letting me know that he was listening. "I need you to keep a close eye on Jenna, make sure there is nothing suspicious."

"Everything about her suspicious Mr. Cavanaugh, how would I be able to tell?" he asked me. Caleb mouthed a few words to me but I wouldn't only make out one. "Phone calls, any suspicious phone calls report back to me." I waited for no response as I hung up the phone. "There is still a lot I have to look into and the only person who would have been good help skipped town," Caleb said clearly frustrated. "Has Spencer opened the envelope yet?" I shook my head in response to his question.

"I told her to open it later, why?"

"There was a reason why Peter left and it's in that envelope."

I raised an eyebrow at his statement. "How can you be so sure?" I asked him. He gave me a knowing look. "We both know that the Peter, Spencer had to deal with wasn't the Peter that we talked to last night." I had to agree.

"Whatever is in that envelope is between him and Spencer, if she wants to share what it says to us then that's fine but lets just leave it at that for now." I suggested. Caleb began typing again and I leaned in closer to see him typing Wilden. "Is there a last name?" he asked me, I shook my head,"Try hacking into Hastings."

"I can't do that," he admitted. "The Hastings will only track the signal back to here and that won't look to good on the news."

"There are no Hastings inside the building left-" I cut myself off as a thought came to mind. If we're going to do this then we need Spencer. I looked at Caleb and caught on to the fact that he already knew what I was thinking. "Will you let her come?" he asked breaking our gaze. I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what else to do or how to respond to the question.

"Toby there's a door blocking us from finding this out and Spencer is the key to getting us in. . . let her do this."

Pinching the bridge of my nose I stood up and began pacing back and fourth. "Spencer remembers gore than her mind is letting her but pushing isn't good for her she has to remember on her own," I told him. "Taking her back there will be pulling out memory after memory- she'll shut down if its too much." Caleb leaned forward placing the computer on the coffee table. "Obviously with you I'm not getting anywhere so see what she wants," he said. "If she decided to come I don't want you to talk her out of it."

I didn't feel that there was any use of me trying to talk Spencer out of anything. I could tell her reason after reason why I think her coming is a bad idea and she'll tell me reason after reason why her coming is a good idea. Mysteries is something I won't be able to keep her from not now and not in the future but Caleb once again is right. Spencer is going to have to make this decision and what she says goes.

Nodding my head I exit the living room picking one to fill Spencer in on everything Caleb and I had just talked about. It was better if she knew ahead of time than at the last minute. Walking into her room I was surprised to see that she was up, her back was facing my but I could tell that she had her knees pulled to her chest.

Looking over to her dresser the envelope was missing meaning that she must have read it. I walked around to the other side of the bed and seen it inside of her hands but she let go of it, letting it fall to the floor softly. I picked it up off of the floor then sat down next to her.

"Was it that bad?" I asked her. She looked up at me and shook her head. "Everything in that note explains why he did what he did and then he ask for my forgiveness."

I cocked my head to the side. "How can you forgive him if he's not here?" I asked sitting the note down on the bed. "How can I forgive him period?" she asked looking down once again. "If I were to ever forgive him it would take years of thinking." she grabbed the note in put it inside of her sock drawer, before grabbing her phone off of the dresser.

She handed it to me and said,"I have more inportant things to worry about right now,"

I know what happened to your mom, give me what I want and I'll tell you.-A

"There's no hint of what this person wants and I shouldn't be stressing like this I need to think about the baby." I handed her, her phone back then stood up tucking my hands into my pockets. "Listen I really need to talk to you about something," I said to her. "Caleb and I need to get into Hastings so we're going to need your help."

She turned around gripping the blanket tighter against her. "What do I have to do?" she asked. "Wilden is going to be there and I don't want to run into him again." I blinked. "Again?"
She nodded gripping the cover even tighter than before as if she was freezing cold. "Today at The Brew he was there with Jenna just. . . watching me."

I nodded slowly taking in this new information. "Is there someone on the inside of that building you can trust?" I asked. She thought about it,"Ian."

"I thought Ian was a bad guy." I stated but she shook her head. "He was like two different people," she explained. "He would always drop me hints about some stuff and do his best to keep me out of trouble but when certain people were around he was stone cold."

"So are we going to do this or not?" someone asked. We both turned to look at the door and seen all three of the girls standing there. I looked at Spencer who just gave a single head nod. Finally I spoke up. "We'll leave in an hour."
