Spencer POV
I tried wiggling out of his grip but he wouldn't budge. "Toby?" I frowned, turning over so that I could see him peacefully sleeping. I planned on shaking him lightly to wake him up but soon understood why I was in this situation in the moment.
The doctor checked my heart beat and other things to make sure that I was going to be okay. The only thing that I had lacked was food and water but after my experiences I had lost a hand full of my appetite.
Despite my first day in the dollhouse I hadn't been hurt physically but emotionally.
After assuring the doctor that I was fine for the umpteenth time he had finally let me leave the ambulance and a hint of blonde hair had caught my eye. I thought that it was Alison but when she had turned her head I didn't recognize her.
Fire men and police officers roamed the area, carrying out things that they had kept as evidence. I crossed my arms over my chest as wind blew past and I shut my eyes for a moment to think about everything I had just been through.
When I had opened them again my vision was blurry but not enough to block out the figure standing a few feet away. Without thinking twice I ran into Toby's arms wrapping my arms around his neck and crying into his shoulder.
One hand tangled in my hair as the other snaked around my waist tightly. After a moment he made a move to pull away but I tightened my grip hysterically shaking my head from side to side,"Don't let me go yet."
"When the detectives called and told me that they had found you I came as quick as I could," he told me. "I knew we were close."
"Is Kayden okay?"
"Kayden is fine- why aren't you in the ambulance?" he asked suddenly. "The other girls are all on their way to the hospital."
"I had asked them to give her a check up inside of the ambulance and send her out." Wren answered from behind me. I could hear Toby growl deep in his throat and looked at him confusingly. He simply smiled faintly then looked up at Wren,"I guess I'll be taking her from here."
"What ever you say- give me a call if there's any problem." with that said he walked off and I was being guided through the woods. "What was that about?" I asked him.
"It was nothing." he responded. I decided that I wouldn't push the subject further more so lapsed on in silence until we had finally reached the house.
"I want to shower before I do anything." I told him not waiting for a response as I entered the bathroom. While in the shower I had washed off all of the dirt and washed my hair disgusted by the dry blood. . .
I cut off my thoughts and went through with my plans of shaking him awoke. "What's wrong?" he asked, squinting his eyes because of the sun. "You can let go of me Toby I promise everything is fine," I assured him but instead his arms tightened around me. "There's nothing to worry about."
"I thought that and it resulted to me losing you for an entire week."
I just smiled, ruffling his hair and he feigned a look of annoyance. "I love you." I murmured out as if it was a question. My body relaxed once I said this, realizing that I was the first to say it. "I love you too but you have to stop ruining my hair." he chuckled, leaning into me.
I turned my head so that he kissed my cheek. "I haven't brushed my teeth yet." I frowned. He turned my head back to him, kissing me softly.
This moment sent butterflies to my stomach as we moved simultaneously. His tongue licked my bottom lip and after denying him entry he began to rub my inner thigh causing me to gasp so that he could enter on his own.
Toby pulled away once Kayden began crying and got out of bed with me following close behind.
Toby POV
I watched as Spencer pulled Kayden out of the crib but her emotion wasn't what I had expected, it was almost regretful. "What's wrong baby?" I asked her. She shook her head from side to side."It's ridiculous," she responded but I motioned for her to explain. "I feel like I've missed so much in his life already."
"That's not ridiculous," I admitted, temporarily placing a hand on her shoulder. "Don't blame yourself for what happened- look at how he looks at you. . . he hasn't forgotten who you are and I would never let that happen."
"When I was trapped inside of the dollhouse my thoughts were mainly about getting out of there but other times about him Toby," she paused. "I've only spent one and a half days with him- I hardly remembered what he looked like."
"What happened to you there?" I asked although now hardly seemed to be a good time. "Nothing happened. . . all we did were play games that only hurt us emotionally but like I keep telling you I'm fine."
I furrowed my eye brows together just to stare St her for a while. "I've figured out what I'm fine actually means so if-" she cut me of clearly irritated. "I'm fine." she repeated walking out of the room to where I'm assuming to be the kitchen.
She placed Kayden inside of his high chair and then grabbed a pre- made bottle out of the refrigerator to heat up. "Don't shut down on me." I grabbed her upper arm before she could walk away from me.
"Don't give me a reason to." she retorted, refusing to look at me. I could hear in her voice the reason for this action. "We won't talk about it now," I sighed. "All I'm going to tell you is that if your not okay I want to be the first person you talk to."
She nodded and I finally let go. "As long as I don't think about it I'm fine, this is the third time I'm saying this but I'm not going to run to you with every little problem," she informed me. "If the problem escalates then I know I can talk to you."
I didn't respond, I simply decided to squash the conversation here and began rummaging through the cabinets. "How do you feel about an Italian Breakfast Burrito?" I asked her and by this point I knew that she had learned that I was part Italian. By my appearance it would be almost impossible to tell.
"Sounds great." she replied. That was new, I thought to myself as I waited for her to mention something about coffee. Nodding, I placed all of the ingredients on the counter, and pulled out a pan to get started.
The phone rang and I heard Spencer get up to answer it. "Hello?" she answered nicely. Her eyes adverted to me for a second and then she was handing me the phone "Hello?" I answered.
"Hello Mr. Cavanaugh, I have called to inform you that your mother, Marian Cavanaugh has somehow escaped our care-" I cut them off. "I was called down to sign her out, there has to a mistake.""Our computer was hacked, please come down to the sanitarium I'm afraid to say this but a girl by the name of Spencer Hastings may not be safe." I looked up at Spencer and nodded,"Give me an hour or two," I told them before hanging up the phone. "Right after breakfast we have somewhere important to be, I'll explain everything later."

"Once we've managed to get everything running smoothly I began making sure everything was in order and I thought I had looked through everything but I clearly haven't," the guy said, digging through some files. "Your mother began with being paranoid because of your father but it turns out that the reason she was stuck here for so long was that her paranoia had began to revolve around you- she's wrote this."
He held up papers that were stabled together. "What is that?" I asked him. "I can't exactly show you this considering it's confidential but your father has seen it and promises that your mother will be back here," he put the papers away. "As for what I said about Spencer being in danger. . . it's possible that your mother was the cause of Alison Dilaurentis disappearance years ago."
