Toby POV

I kept my eyes on the road, every now in then looking back to see whether Kayden was still sleep or not. Following the speed limit had become a challenge at this point. The only thing that lingered in my mind was Spencer being kidnapped and thoughts of how all of this could have been prevented.

I've never been one to give Spencer the space she had asked for, always wanting to make sure whether she was okay and I have no idea what I was thinking to let her stay out tyre all alone without any source of protection.
Walking out onto the balcony just to see that there was a note where she once sat made my heart halt to a stop.

I turned into my parents drive way and grabbed Kayden's car seat, quickly making my way into the house. Even with Kayden properly dressed for the weather I would risk him getting sick. "Toby," my mom frowned once I walked into the living room. "I'll take him from here."

Kayden opened his eyes and I sat him down, knelling down in front of him. "Be good." I said then pecked his forehead gently. There were foot steps and I looked up at Caleb,"We've got a name." he informed me.

I nodded and looked at my mom, my eyes pleading for her to keep a good watch on Kayden. I couldn't deal with anything happening to him either. Getting off of the floor, I followed Caleb to another living room and sat down beside Ezra.

"What's the name?" I asked. Ezra turned his computer to face me and the screen had read: Charles Hastings. "Have Spencer ever mentioned him to you?" Ezra asked me. I honestly shook my head but froze,"There was a text."

   "A text?"

I nodded,"I think it was after getting off of the phone with Caleb, I began scrolling through her messages and there was a message about being family." Caleb's eyes lit up but soon were replaced with disappointment as he growled in frustration,"You didn't bring the phone did you?" he asked me.

I narrowed my eyes at him,"Drop the attitude Caleb, I'm not putting up with your childish behavior- my son is in the other room acting more mature than you are right now."

He huffed but said nothing else as he began typing rapidly on the computer, showing that he was upset about my statement yet I could care less and I'm sure he knew that.

We have spent hours trying to figure this out but I had to admit that my head wasn't in all the way. I kept thinking about the note that was left on the balcony, where Spencer once sat.

I could have been more sstrict by telling her to come inside but for once I decide to respect the fact that she wanted space and this happened.

"I found something." Caleb exclaimed clicking on the red dot that had suddenly appeared. "What's that suppose to be?" Ezra asked motioning to the bottom of the bottom half of the screen.

I narrowed my eyes at it curiously,"Is that an address?" I asked and Caleb nodded also just as curious as I was. "Someone knows what we're doing and their leading us right to it but it's going to take about two hours to get there- I don't think any of us have enough energy to drive."

"I can drive," Ezra offered before taking a sip of his third cup of coffee. "I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that Aria is out there somewhere in danger."

My head fell down in my hands as my mind clouded up with even more thoughts. "I don't care what we do as long as we get the girls back sefely in the process," I admitted as I rose up from my seat. "Even if it means risking our own lives."

Spencer POV

"Where are we?" Hanna asked for the umpteenth time as she reached for another cookie. The masked girl cocked her head to the side,"Do you really want to eat that?" she asked. Hurt flashed in Hanna's eyes as she back away from the cookie tray, turning to mask her answer. "I already told you that you are in the dollhouse, what more can I tell?"

"There's a lot you can explain-" there were chimes that cut off Emily and we all looked around to figure out where it was coming from. A door slid open and the girl ran over to it.

"It won't stop until everyone is inside of their rooms!" she yelled over it. We all looked at each other worried unsure of this whole thing but made our way up the stairs anyways.

I ran into my room and the doornimmediately slid shut. Turning around there was a masked man standing in a corner as if he was a statue.

I stayed glued to my spot for a minute or two before turning and trying to open the door. I looked back and suddenly he was next to me causing me to scream and fall to the ground.

He growled lowly but said nothing as he turned and walked to his corner once again. I rose from the floor taking a step back until I was against the wall.
"W-Who are you?" I managed to ask. He looked in my direction again but said nothing. "Why am I h-here?"

I felt tears well up in my eyes, as I bit my bottom lip to ignore my shaking state. He continued to stare at me almost like he was pretending to be a statue once again before he sat down on the ground, twirling a knife I hadn't known he was holding on the ground.

"I could tell you but I'll have to kill you," he chuckled menacingly. "I would have pleasure in doing that."

His last comment had sent chills crawling up my spine but I tried my best not to show it while I secretly hoped that someone- anyone would come and rescue us from this nightmare.

I wanted for everything to be normal. Today was the day Toby and I had brought Kayden back from the hospital and I didn't want to think about it but this was what I meant when I told Toby that I hadn't thought my life would have a continuation.

I felt as if everything was happening too easily and that something bad was going to happen. I felt as if this was it and I blamed myself for it.

Something hit the wall next to me and I jumped looking to my left to see the knife sticking inside of the wall then I looked at the guy who was standing five feet away.

"Glad I got your attention," he exclaimed sarcastically, coming over to me and gripping a hand full of my hair. I whimpered in pain. "You can cry all you want but it will do you know good."

My head was banged against the wall and he let go of me, letting me drop to the floor. I placed a hand on the back of my head then felt something wet as I began to lose the little strength I had left.

I looked at my hand it was covered in blood. My vision became blurry and for a second I thought that I was going to black out again but instead tears trailed down my face.

My head was tilted up slightly and I closed my eyes shut tightly. His thumb traced my jaw line and he mumbled something that almost went unnoticed by me.

   "Your pathetic."
