Toby POV

As the months went by Spencer had never been more happy. The disappearance of her father remained a mystery she had Jason, Melissa, and Veronica back in her life reminding her that they were here to stay.

The bed shifted as Spencer stirred in her sleep trying to get more comfortable and I quickly soothed her by rubbing her round stomach.

I expected her to fall back to sleep like she would have usually done but instead her eyes fluttered open. "Why are you dressed so early?" she asked me in a groggy voice before a yawn emerged. I chuckled,"Babe it's two in the afternoon," I stated. "Also, I went to run a few errands."

She glanced at the clock and sighed,"The baby had been kicking most of the night again." frowning I stood up from my knelling position. "I have a surprise for you." I admitted.

"What is it?"

"A surprise." I responded earning a glare. Grabbing her hand I helped her out of bed then guided her to her old room.

Opening the door she gasped at the sight, waddling further into the room and taking a look around. "This is beautiful." she said smiling brightly.

I nod my head in agreement. The room was indeed impressive but it was far from finished. Everything inside of this room was Grey due to the fact that neither one of us knew the gender of the baby.

I could perfectly remember the day I asked Spencer if we could know the gender. She crossed her arms as if she was going to reply to my question but instead she walked into the bathroom and cried until I assured her that we would wait.

Shaking the memory out of my head I walked further inside of the room and grabbed the stuffed animal off of the little couch seeing a note attached to it.

I tore it off and read it out loud,"We'll see each other soon." looking around the tag it wasn't signed. "How long did this take?" Spencer asked. I casually sat the toy down and slipped the note into my pocket, turning around.

"It took a while, you've been sleeping more than usual so they were able to get it done," I admitted. "I think the timing was good."

She nodded tilting her head up a little,"I still dont know what this person wants Toby." she frowned.

"Their just empty threats I'm sure they'll go away soon." I assured her. She looked away,"Its like your trying to convince yourself more than your trying to convince me."

Although what she said was true I wasn't going to let her know that. "Has this person been texting you lately?" I asked unable to remember the last time we spoke of this.

"No, and that's the problem- we both know that nothing ends this easily."

I gently grabbed her chin, taking a step closer. "Where is all of this coming from?" I asked shaking my head imperceptibly. "When I say you dont have to worry I mean it."

She took deep breath and I smiled moving in but her hands took place on my chest to prevent me from going any further. "I'm going to brush my teeth now." she stated seriously.

I chuckled taking taking a small step backwards. "I'll make you something to eat." I told her as she waddled out of the room.

Pulling the note out of my pocket I flipped it over so that I could see the letter A written on the back. I sighed also exiting the room and shutting the door behind me.

Spencer POV

After brushing my teeth, I exit the bedroom and made my way towards the stairs feeling an arm wrap around my wrist.

Turning I came in contact with Ezra. "Let me help you." he stated. Nodding we began making our way down. "How's the book coming along?" I asked.

He took a moment before answering. "I dont think I'll be finishing it." he admitted. I gasped in shock,"You've been working on it for so long and I thought it was suppose to be out by Christmas which I should remind you is in a few weeks."

"It was but I can see it makes Aria uncomfortable having to write in Nicole point of view- she also has to write in her point of view."

"Did she tell you that?"

"I assumed."

I rolled my eyes,"You should talk to her about it before you decide that quitting would be best." I advised. He nodded but said nothing else as the stairs came to an ending.

After thanking him I walked into the living room and took a seat on the couch, flicking on the TV.

An hour later my attention was drawn away from the TV as a delicious smell filled the air. Toby sat down the tray of Tortellini on the coffee table.

Beside it he sat down a glass of Tropicana then looked at me

Beside it he sat down a glass of Tropicana then looked at me.
"Can I get you anything else?" he asked me. I shook my head,"Thank you, this is perfect but you could have made something simple."

He chuckled filling in the space next to, stretching an arm across the head of the couch. "I could have." he agreed but said nothing else, turning his attention to the TV as well.

I had began eating and I could tell that Toby spent most of his time making sure that this meal was cooked to perfection.

He had even added in zucchini and rice at the bottom. Surprisingly, the meal succeeded in filling me up. Once I had finished eat I leaned back in attempt to relax but the baby had began kicking again ruining my concentration.

After shifting in my seat a few times with no improvement I rubbed my temples in frustration. "Hey," Toby said pulling me closer to him after realizing my discomfort. "It'll be okay."

"Have any of you seen my hoop earrings?" Hanna asked, entering the room and checking under a few things.

"No, are you and Caleb going somewhere?" I asked her. She smiled,"Yes but it's tomorrow night and I would like to be prepared a little earlier than usual."

Toby chuckled at her statement. "You could pick out an outfit a month early and still won't be ready by the time-" Caleb's voice cut Toby off. "I would appreciate it if amazing brother would shut up." he said with a hint of sarcasm.

Toby held his free hand up in surrender. "Whatever you say," he responded. "I'm guessing you went with Plan B?"

I raised a brow along with Hanna but neither one of us made an attempt in speaking. "While your at it you might as well fill everyone in on what it is." Caleb frowned crossing his arms over his chest.

I shifted again no longer findings Toby's embrace comforting then suddenly a pain shot through me and I gasped.

"Spencer?" the three asked simultaneously. Hanna came over to me and sat down as Toby rubbed my back. "I-I think it's," another pain cut through. "Time."

Toby's eyes widened,"I thought you still had two month?" Toby asked clearly worried. "The baby is coming." I repeated louder than needed.

"Caleb get the car ready quick."
