Hello and welcome back! I completely forgot about this until last minute! I had a very busy week -- and Roderich left too! So it is just Matt this week! And you've probably figured, if you've followed the magazine, that Rod doesn't have the ship opinion in for this week! But from band, to keeping random people company, I've been busy! I would like to remind all of you that admin Kiku J stated that there will be no hating on ships here at Hetalia weekly. People have different opinions, and different ships, and differences make us human. Keep in mind, differences make us unique people! ~ Matthew

This week's Character is Greece!

Greece received the name Heracles Karpusi when Himaruya gave names to some of the characters. He is said to have a serious personality, but he often seems carefree and casual. He is often seen with cats, a reference to Greece's stray cat population. He loves naps and is often seen sleeping, but even though it seems there is nothing in his head, he has a love for philosophy and history, and thinks about all sorts of things. It is said that if you dig in his backyard, you'll find many ancient ruins and things belonging to his mother, Ancient Greece. Popular ships with Greece are TurGre, and GiriPan.

This week's interview is with (because I'm low on time) 2DollarDragon -- My younger sister!!
1) First of all, who is your favorite character in Hetalia? "I like America and Russia -- but not shipped... Also China. I also like Greece cause he has cats, and Turkey cause he looks good. I like Germany because of the epic jaw line and the tiny in-front-of-the-ear sideburns. Y'all know which ones I'm talking about."
2) Who do you relate to most in Hetalia? "Sealand... not really. I relate to Greece because he loves cats and is relatively lazy."
3) What is your biggest OTP if any and why? "AmeriPan is my top favorite... just look at how cute it is. The runner-up is TurGre because it is like a 90's sitcom. My third favorite is RoChu because they are communistic together and they are both two of my favorites."
4) What is your NoTP if any? "PruAus and Usuk. I also hate AmeCan -- America and Canda... it just rustles my jimmies in a negative way."
5) Would you rather be raised by the Axis or the Allies? "I'm gonna say Allies. The Axis are kinda serious -- except for Italy. But there are five allies with different personalities and stuff. They'd teach me different things, and I wouldn't have to exercise with Doitsu each day, which is a plus."

This weeks ship is PruHun! She and Prussia were rivals as children, though Prussia also was called by her to assist in the defense of her house(and he was kicked out following his claiming the territory he was to protect.) Prussia and Hungary herself both believed Hungary to be male, until he groped her chest, believing himself to be attacking a weak spot. She continued to believe she was male, despite Prussia's attempts to inform her otherwise, some time until she reached puberty. After a fight with Turkey she was badly injured and they happened upon one another. Though her injuries shocked him at first, he proceeded to say he'd need to do "some really intimate care" on her, telling her not to get the wrong idea, disturbing her. Tearing the cloth of his robe from over his crotch off, he attempted to force her to allow him to bandage her with it, before he noticed and was shocked by her chest and began to tear a different part of his robe off to bandage her with. His reaction confirmed for her that she really was a girl. They parted ways after Prussia gave her the entirety of the robe.
Kiku J~ PruHun is great X3 ANY ship between Prussia, Hungary and Austria is great X3 At first, PruHun was mah main ship out of this triangle, but after a while, I favored PruAus more cause... I dunno, it's great XD But I still ship this cause SMOL CHILDREN ARE GREAT XD I loved their story as kids, cause it's CUTE and even as adults a lot of stuff could go down between the two (*cough*evenPrussia'segowhenpeoplepointoutthatheaintanationanymore*cough*) and I think I've read a few PruHun one-shots, and they were great :3
Matthew~ Well... This is another ship my sister likes. That's pretty whacky that I chose some of her top ships while Keeks was gone. So I like PruHun. Yeah. I agree with Keeks. I like anything in Frying Pangle. Legit. It is solid, sonny. But like... the tension I think is what makes it. And also, they constantly fight about and over Austria. So like... yeah. History. And just... Himaruya lowkey suggested that the crush in PruHun is unrequited -- or one sided -- on Prussia's point. Which is sad. So... yeah... like a one-sided crush. Why did I have to say that???

The Fact this week is~
An early draft for a Greece character shows him as a short-haired man with glasses. It first appeared on the Bamboo Thicket blog, though Himaruya left the identity of the nation for viewers to guess. The character was later outed as an early Greece in the special edition booklet that came with Hetalia: Axis Powers volume 3. Himaruya noted that the design was his perception of Greeks, but that it changed after he met a few Greek people.
I saw the picture -- he looked just like Austria, or like China's first draft. Man, the series would be pretty different if they looked like that. And Greece would probably be an intense philosopher!
